Indian Olympic Association partners with Yes Bank for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has announced a partnership with Yes Bank, bringing it on board as the Official Retail Banking Partner of the Indian contingent for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, as well as the 2026 Asian Games, the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, and the 2026 Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games.

Yes Bank was a Team India partner during the 2024 Paris Olympics and will continue supporting the Indian athletes at the aforementioned major events throughout the year.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games are scheduled to take place between July 23 and August 2, 2026, in Glasgow, Scotland.

PT Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association, commented:

We are delighted to welcome YES BANK as a long-standing partner of the Indian Olympic Association and its continued commitment to growth and development of sports in the country. YES BANK will serve as the ‘Retail Banking Partner’ for Team India across four major sports events in 2026. With this partnership, we are proud to step up our commitment to sporting excellence by building on our previous partnership for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Such valuable partnerships play a key role in strengthening India’s sporting ecosystem and creating greater momentum behind our athletes as they prepare to represent the nation on the global stage. Together, we look forward to celebrating the achievements of our athletes, inspiring millions of Indians, and strengthening sports as a core pillar of development, fully aligned with the larger national vision of Viksit Bharat.

Vinay M Tonse, Managing Director & CEO, Yes Bank, added:

We are proud to partner with the Indian Olympic Association in supporting Team India across four marquee international sporting events in 2026. Sport has the extraordinary power to inspire a nation, promote health and well-being, nurture talent at the grassroots, and build character through discipline, resilience and teamwork. These values resonate deeply with YES BANK’s commitment to empowering individuals, communities and businesses, while contributing to India’s nation-building journey. As Team India competes on the global stage, carrying the hopes and aspirations of millions, we are honoured to stand beside our athletes as they strive to bring pride to our nation.
