The Indian Premier League is by no means a done deal when it comes to growing financially. It only seems to get bigger as the years go by. Sponsors play a huge role in the success of the tournament, and the IPL gets offers from some of the largest companies; some stick on, some don’t. Following are the sponsors of the Indian Premier League 2022.
The IPL has seen a constant shift of title sponsors since DLF’s conclusion as the title sponsor in 2012. Tata will be the official title sponsor for the 2022 IPL. The deal between Tata and the BCCI is for two years. The deal is reportedly worth a sum of ?670 crore.
Dream11, a leading online fantasy gaming platform in India, entered into an agreement with the Indian Premier League to act as one of its official sponsors in March 2019. The two parties entered into an agreement for a period of four years which commenced in 2019.
Unacademy became an official partner of the IPL back in 2020. The deal commenced that very year and is to last for a period of three years. During the course of the agreement, Unacademy is reportedly set to pay the BCCI a sum of ?140 crore.
Cred allows customers to pay their credit card bills online. The company has become quite popular for its quirky advertisements. The deal between Cred and the IPL kicked off in September 2020. The agreement between the two parties is for a period of three years, which means that Cred will be entering into its final year as an IPL sponsor in 2022.
Upstox is one of India’s fastest-growing online brokerage firms. It was announced as an official partner of the IPL back in March 2021. The deal between the two kicked off in April 2021 and has continued into the 2022 season as well.

The deal will continue beyond the 2022 IPL season as it has been dubbed a multi-year contract. Rupay is a card payment network that has become successful due to its innovative features.
Star Sports will act as the official broadcast partner for the 2022 IPL. Back in 2017, Star India won the broadcasting rights for the IPL.
