The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has roped in Tokyo-based fashion and clothing brand UNIQLO as its Official Clothing Supplier.
The partnership will see UNIQLO provide the ITF tournament match officials with apparel for events such as the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event, and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis Event.
UNIQLO will provide the ITF officials with its products such as the Dry EX Polo Shirt, the Ultra Stretch Dry EX Jogger Pants, and the BLOCKTECH Parka, all sporting the logos of the ITF and the event.
David Haggerty, ITF President, commented:
“I am very grateful for our long-standing partnership with UNIQLO. The LifeWear apparel provides our match officials with functional, comfortable and well-designed clothing, so I am pleased that we will continue to work with UNIQLO.”
Koji Yanai, Senior Executive Officer, Fast Retailing Group, added:
“We are delighted to be able to support tennis and wheelchair tennis match officials on the international stage with UNIQLO clothing. The LifeWear we offer is functional, comfortable, and well designed. We believe it will provide comfort not only on the court, but in all settings during the tournament. UNIQLO will continue to work with the ITF in a variety of activities, and through our ‘Sport and the Power of Clothing’ initiative, we aim to contribute to the realisation of a better world.”
