Magda Linette: Sponsors

Magda Linette is a 30-year-old Polish professional tennis player. She started playing tennis at the age of six and prefers playing on hard courts. Linette made her professional debut in 2009 and reached a career-high Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranking of 33rd in February 2022.

Linette has reached five WTA finals in her career and won two titles. She won her first title at the 2019 Bronx Open and followed it up with her second title at the 2020 Hua Hin Championships. For someone who started as a defensive counterpuncher, Linette has gone on to adapt her game to become an all-around player nowadays, which has also helped improve her ranking recently.

Current Deals

Joma

With both her clothing and footwear deals coming to an end, Linette paired up with Spanish clothing and footwear company Joma in December 2019. Joma specialises in manufacturing clothing and footwear for various sports. 

Yonex

The Japanese sports equipment manufacturer tied down Linette on a multi-year racquet sponsorship deal in the last weeks of 2022, as her previous deal with French racquet manufacturer Babolat ended in December 2022. 

Previous Deals

Babolat

After her association with Wilson ended in December 2015, Linette signed up with French sports equipment manufacturer Babolat on a five-year deal. After playing a whole season without a racquet sponsor, Linette and Babolat signed the deal in January 2017, which lasted till December 2022.

Tonic Active

Alongside her apparel and shoes sponsorship deal with Nike, Linette also signed a five-year deal with Canadian activewear and lifestyle apparel for women, Tonic Active. The pair started their five-year deal in March 2014, which ended in December 2019.

Nike

Linette was a part of the Nike roster as part of a five-year deal that ran from January 2014 to December 2019.  

Wilson

Linette started her tennis career with Wilson as her racquet sponsor. Wilson Sporting Goods is an American sports equipment manufacturing company. The partnership between the two ended in December 2015.
