Globally known financial services company, Mastercard Inc., has roped in Tennis sensation Naomi Osaka as its brand ambassador. MasterCard’s logo has found a place in the visors that Naomi will be seen in the upcoming matches.
Interestingly, Naomi’s apparel partner, Nike, isn’t known to allow brand placements in the outfits worn by the players. But on a rare occasion, Nike has permitted Naomi to carry the logos of Japanese noodle brand Nissin, Japanese airway company ANA and MasterCard on her Nike-branded clothing.
Naomi’s brand value has increased tremendously since she lifted the US Open trophy in 2018. Japanese multinational personal care company – Shiseido, Japanese car manufacturer – Nissan, and luxury watch brand – Citizen are some of the latest additions to Naomi’s sponsors list.
