Following his historic Olympics gold medal win at Tokyo 2020, Indian track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra has become the darling of numerous brands throughout the country. Every company wants to cash in on his recent success and fame to also grow its own value.

In March 2024, Indian multinational food products company Britannia roped in Neeraj Chopra alongside other athletes for a marketing campaign focused on encouraging a hunger for sports beyond cricket.
The campaign entailed an on-pack integration with six biscuit brands of Britannia, where consumers could scan and play various games on HungryForGold.com such as javelin, boxing, and badminton among others. The campaign, dubbed “Britannia Khao, Paris Jao” (“Eat Britannia, Go to Paris”), offered the leaderboard-topping consumers a chance to go to Paris and watch the 2024 Olympics in person.
Energy conglomerate Bharat Petroleum roped in Chopra as a brand ambassador in February 2024.
As per the agreement, Chopra serves as the face of Bharat Petroleum’s “Speed” petrol brand.
Chopra was roped in as a “Team Visa” athlete by the global digital payments company in February 2024, ahead of the Paris 2024 Games.
Chopra joined Visa as a brand ambassador, becoming only the second Indian after professional badminton player PV Sindhu to become a Team Visa athlete.
In December 2023, Chopra announced a new global partnership with American clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger, the two joining forces to “blend winter fashion with javelin precision”.
Chopra partnered with Samsung in November 2023 for the launch of its Galaxy Z Fold5 phone. He appeared in various advertisements for the brand, promoting the product.
Chopra joined sports nutrition brand Optimum Nutrition as a brand ambassador in November 2023.
The deal sees Chopra promote Optimum’s products via social media and advertising campaigns.
Indian lifestyle tech brand Noise roped in Chopra as a brand ambassador in September 2023.
Chopra thus promotes the brand’s smartwatches and stars in its various digital campaigns and advertisements.
Indian industrial conglomerate JSW Group roped in Chopra as a brand ambassador in September 2023.
As brand ambassador, Chopra is the face of several JSW businesses — Steel, Cements and Paints, to name a few.
Smart watch brand Alt Smart roped in Chopra as an ambassador in May 2023, with the star Indian athlete promoting its products through various digital advertisements.
In July 2022, Chopra was announced as a Limca brand ambassador, joining on to promote the brand’s then-upcoming low-sugar no-fizz beverage.
Under Armour’s India distributor and licensee, Underdog Athletics, roped in Chopra as a brand ambassador for Under Armour India in July 2022.
The partnership sees Under Armour release various media campaigns, which Chopra headlines.
Troikaa Pharmaceuticals announced Chopra as the first-ever brand ambassador for its over-the-counter solution for musculoskeletal pain, Dynapar QPS, in March 2022.
The partnership sees Chopra feature in various marketing campaigns for the brand, having started off with its #ChampionsKaChampion campaign.
Plant-based meat firm GoodDot announced Neeraj Chopra as a brand ambassador in December 2021.
As the face of the company, Chopra helps GoodDot raise awareness about plant-based meats. The partnership sees Chopra feature in various television and media campaigns for the brand.

This multi-year deal sees Chopra promote TATA AIA’s policies and educate the general public about the importance of life insurance.
Ahead of the resumption of the 2021 IPL season in the UAE, Indian fintech company CRED roped in the Olympic gold medallist as a brand ambassador.
Chopra featured in CRED’s “Great for Good” ad campaign alongside actor Jim Sarbh, in which he appeared not as himself but as the general public hounding him after his Tokyo 2020 win. Chopra’s multi-avatar portrayal of over-enthusiastic common men won over millions of hearts.

Chopra also has an endorsement deal in place with American personal care products company Procter & Gamble, with him serving as a brand ambassador for its personal care products brand Gillette in India.
As per the deal, Chopra appears in various advertisements for Gillette and also promotes its products via social media.
Indian electronics company Amstrad AC brought Chopra on board as a brand ambassador following his gold medal win at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Chopra is the face of the brand and partakes in several of its advertisement campaigns on social media.
Chopra signed on with this Indian dairy company as a brand ambassador in early 2021.
Being an athlete, Chopra promotes and speaks out about the importance of milk and dairy products in his diet that help him to function at the highest level.
In November 2022, Chopra was announced as a “Friendship Ambassador” of Switzerland Tourism.
The agreement sees Chopra promote the adventurous and sporty outdoors of Switzerland to the Indian public.

EdTech firm BYJU’S roped in Neeraj Chopra as one of its brand ambassadors in December 2021.
Chopra headlines various media and television campaigns as BYJU’S uses his image to reach out to younger audiences.
The sports branch of the JSW Group, which was established in 2012, has slowly become a strong foundation base for young and upcoming athletes.
Chopra has been sponsored by JSW Sports since the early days of his career, having signed up with the company in 2015. He is a member of JSW Sports’ Sports Excellence Program, which provides financial support and training facilities to the athletes.
In October 2023, Chopra was announced as a Laureus ambassador, becoming only the second Indian after former professional cricketer Yuvraj Singh to attain this role.
The Laureus organisation is a renowned sports charity known for working towards helping youngsters around the world.
Chopra was signed by American sporting giant Nike in 2017. His deal with Nike was reportedly worth US$50,000.
As part of the deal, Chopra endorsed Nike products both on and off the field. Nike also provided Chopra with customised apparel.
Indian sports nutrition supplements brand MuscleBlaze had been a long-time sponsor of Neeraj Chopra, even before his Tokyo heroics. Chopra was a part of multiple advertisement campaigns for the brand and promoted its products regularly.
Following his Tokyo 2020 triumph, Chopra was roped in by smartphone manufacturer iQOO India for its “Quest On & On” campaign. Chopra served as a brand ambassador of the company and promoted its products on social media.
American multinational oil and gas company ExxonMobil’s Indian brand, Mobil India, tied up with Chopra in 2019. Chopra appeared in multiple campaigns for the brand, most notably the #FarakLaakarDekhiye campaign.
Sports drink company Gatorade brought Neeraj Chopra on board as a brand ambassador following his successful stint at the 2018 Asian Games. Chopra was a part of multiple digital media campaigns for the brand, most notably the #GatoradexNeeraj and #SweatMore campaigns.
