Following are the companies and organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to the NBA team, the New York Knicks, and enjoy a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets.
Sphere Entertainment and the parent company of the New York Knicks, Madison Square Garden Sports, entered into a partnership in October 2023 that sees the brand serve as the basketball team’s Official Jersey Patch Sponsor for the 2023/24 NBA season.
The Sphere logo will appear on the Knicks game jerseys, which include the home and away matches, the team’s practice jerseys, warm-up shirts and on clothes sold in retail outlets.
New York Lottery
A state-operated lottery in the US state of New York that began in 1967, called the New York Lottery, is an Official Partner of the New York Knicks and often appears on the digital creatives that are posted by the basketball team on its social media handles.
In October 2022, the New York Knicks announced their partnership with American publicly traded cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase as part of the NFT series “New York Forever”.
The parties continue their multi-year partnership, which sees the brand provide offers to fans on season ticket renewal and also enjoy visibility through the team’s digital media assets.
It was announced in January 2023 that the MSC Cruises and Madison Square Garden Sports Corp had entered into a multi-year marketing partnership, which will see the former company serve as the New York Knicks’ official cruise line partner.
As per the deal, MSC Cruises will gain visibility through LED signage and on-court signage during the Knicks games at The Garden. Further, they will also serve as the Presenting Partner for the Knicks in-game T-shirt toss while appearing on the team’s social media handles.
The New York Knicks and 1800 Tequila have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with one another since 2010. It was announced in November 2022 that 1800 would design exclusive varsity jackets for the team, being a nod to the parties’ collaboration.
Their initial multi-year partnership saw the brand gain visibility through the courtside LED branding, the scoreboard at the Knicks’ home stadium, as well as through fan engagement and interaction.
Spectrum, a brand owned by Charter Communications, announced in October 2017 that it had signed a partnership with MSG Networks to provide live coverage of the New York Knicks’ NBA matches.
As part of the deal, the brand gains visibility by appearing on the social media handles of the basketball team.
South Korea-based multinational automobile company KIA Motors is an Official Partner of the New York Knicks. As part of the deal between the parties, the brand’s logo appears on the “Starting Five” creatives shared by the basketball team before the start of an NBA match.
ESPN New York 98.7FM has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the New York Knicks, serving as the latter’s radio home since 2004. Most recently, Madison Square Garden Sports announced an extension of this particular agreement on a multi-year basis in March 2019.
The partnership sees ESPN broadcast all of the Knicks’ live matches and cover the full pre-game and post-game segments.
HUB International Limited, a leading global insurance brokerage, announced its partnership with Madison Square Garden Entertainment in October 2022 to serve as an Official Partner of the New York Knicks.
The partnership will also see HUB serve as the Presenting Partner for College Hoops at The Garden. Further, the company will gain exposure through the digital content of the Knicks, in-game and in-arena signage, and throughout College Basketball games at The Garden.
BetMGM is an online betting company that was announced as an Official Partner of the Knicks in November 2021. BetMGM gets significant exposure to all Knicks platforms and is featured throughout their MSG features.
American ticket sales and distribution company based in Beverly Hills, Ticketmaster is an official partner of the New York Knicks. The NBA season matches for the Knicks are made available by the abovementioned company. Ticketmaster also enjoy visibility across the social media platforms of the Knicks.
A lemon-based soft drink brand owned by PepsiCo., and sold in the United States of America, Starry is a partner of the New York Knicks for the 2023/24 NBA season. The partnership sees Starry prominently featured on the creatives posted by the Knicks across their social media platforms.
Anheuser-Busch InBev, a multinational drink and brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium, is the New York Knicks’ official sponsor. The partnership sees Michelob Ultra feature prominently in social media promotional segments across the Knicks’ digital assets.
JPMorgan Chase is the presenting partner of the New York Knicks, and the two parties have previously worked on several collaborations over the years. The brand gains visibility through the Knicks’ social media and other digital assets.
In 2022, the two joined hands to work with Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School, which was aimed at enhancing students’ academic experience. The two organizations also donated a sum of $100,000, showing their commitment to the cause.
Madison Square Garden Sports Corp announced in March 2022 that local commerce platform Door Dash would serve as the basketball team’s Official On-Demand Delivery Platform.
The parties also decided to launch the “Donation Dash” initiative to support children who cannot access food. Further, the brand will gain visibility through LED Signage, on-site activations and GardenVision features at the home of the Knicks. The brand has also served as the presenting partner of “Knicks Fan Appreciation Night” while continuing to appear across social media and digital assets of the basketball team.

Whiskey brand Maker’s Mark and the New York Knicks signed a marketing partnership in March 2022. As part of the deal, both parties would partner with ROAR NY (Restaurants Organizing, Advocating & Rebuilding) to be a part of an initiative called “Raise The Bar”, which is aimed at helping the bartending community in New York recover from the issues they faced from the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Further, Maker’s Mark and the Knicks pledged to donate $20,000 for two years to support the community. The brand also gains visibility through LED signage, on-site activations, and through digital boards placed outside MSG.
Madison Square Garden Sports and New York City’s newest dynamic destination for food, culture, retail and hospitality, Manhattan West, signed a marketing partnership in October 2022, and the latter was announced as an Official Partner of the New York Knicks on a multi-year agreement.
The telecommunication industry giant has its 5G framework spread across 60 arenas after agreeing multi-year agreements with 15 NBA franchises, of which the New York Knicks are one.
Infosys is an information technology consulting company that, in November 2021, was announced as the Official Digital Innovation Partner of the New York Knicks.
This partnership includes creating a command centre at MSG to enhance fan experience and deliver real-time operational updates. It also looks to elevate fan engagement by providing in-depth stats for the New York Knicks.
In November 2021, Caesars Entertainment was officially named as the Sports Betting Partner of the NBA franchise, the New York Knicks. Caesars Sportsbook is an entity of the company and signed a multi-year marketing deal with Madison Square Garden.
Caesars Sports holds branding and premium rights in the stadium for all Knicks games and other special events.
