Red Bull Racing announce HJC Helmets partnership

Austrian Formula One team Red Bull Racing have announced a new multi-year partnership with Korean helmet manufacturer HJC Helmets, which will see the Korean firm join the team as their Official Supplier of Pit Crew Head Protection.
A leader in head protection technology for over five decades, HJC will provide the team with its lightweight and modular RPHA90 helmets and fibreglass F70 helmets.

Christian Horner, Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, commented:
“Safety is our absolute priority. Formula One is a team sport and nowhere is that better exemplified than during a pitstop, when hundredths of a second can win or lose a Grand Prix. It can be a chaotic and hazardous environment and giving our award-winning pit crew safe and comfortable head protection is of the utmost importance.”

The majority of Team’s pit crew will be wearing our RPHA 90 modular helmet that was designed for both protection and comfort as they perform their challenging tasks.
