Robert Lewandowski’s Sponsors and Charity Work

This article contains information regarding Polish superstar footballer, Robert Lewandowski, and his sponsors and charity work.

SPONSORS

Nike – Lewandowski oscillated between using Nike and Puma boots during his young days, eventually settling on Adidas boots during his teen years at Znicz Pruszków. It wasn’t until his final years with Lech Pozna? that he became a frequent wearer of Nike boots again, leading up to his landmark deal with the American brand in 2013.
It has been believed for a while that Lewandowski is on his way to sign a deal with Puma. Rumours of the same started gaining wind when the Pole wore Puma’s Future Z football boots in March 2021 in a Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen. Although he came out for the second half of that game in Nike (Phantom Venom) boots, the speculation remains.

Huawei – Lewandowski became a regional brand ambassador for Shenzhen-headquartered Chinese tech company Huawei in November 2015. The deal covers the regions of Poland, central and eastern Europe, and Scandinavia.

EA Sports – Lewandowski has been a familiar face in EA Sports’ FIFA games over the years. He also featured as the cove star for FIFA 15’s Polish edition alongside Lionel Messi.

Procter & Gamble – Lewandowski has been a brand ambassador for Cincinnati-based consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble since 2014, promoting household brands like Gillette and Head & Shoulders.

Oshee – Lewandowski became a global brand ambassador for Kraków-headquartered sports drink brand Oshee in January 2018.

4F – In March 2021, Lewandowski announced his own range of clothing in collaboration with Wieliczka-headquartered apparel brand 4F.

PREVIOUS DEALS

Coca-Cola – The Pole was a brand ambassador for Coca-Cola for seven years before he switched to Oshee in 2018.

NOTABLE CHARITY WORK

  • On 11 July 2015, Lewandowski featured in a charity event as part of a Bayern Munich side that raised over €500,000 for Allianz für Kinder (Allianz for Kids), a charity dedicated towards youth welfare in Germany.
  • In March 2020, he and his wife donated €1m to the global fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.
