Official Kit Supplier

Nike

Nike, an American athletic footwear and apparel corporation headquartered near Beaverton, Oregon, also the world’s largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment, signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Uruguayan Football Association in April 2024 to become its official kit supplier. 

As per the agreement, Nike provides the official kit for the AUF-affiliated national football teams of Uruguay.

Antel

Antel, one of the leaders in the Uruguayan telecommunications sector, is also an official sponsor of the Uruguay men’s national football team.

Antel also sponsors the Uruguayan national basketball, rugby, and handball teams. In 2018, it was the National Supporter of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, which was held in Uruguay.

Banco República

Banco República or Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay is a state-owned commercial bank in Uruguay, founded in 1896 under the presidency of Juan Idiarte Borda. It is the largest banking institution in the country and one of the primary sponsors of the Uruguay men’s national football team.

Established on 27 December 1911, it operates under the Ministry of Economy and Finance and is controlled by the Court of Accounts and the Central Bank. It is an Autonomous State Entity with commercial and social purposes as a state-owned enterprise with high decentralisation.

CASMU

The Assistance Centre of the Medical Union of Uruguay, better known as CASMU, is a Uruguayan company that provides health services to its members through mutualism. It is one of the largest mutual societies in Uruguay with more than 3,000 medical professionals and over 3,000 non-medical employees. 

Ta-Ta Supermercados

A chain of supermarkets and hypermarkets based in Uruguay, Ta-ta Supermercados is operated by the Ta-Ta Group.

PepsiCo

PepsiCo is an American multinational food, snack, and beverage corporation headquartered in Harrison, New York. It was formed in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay and has since expanded from its namesake product Pepsi Cola to an immensely diversified range of food and beverage brands.

Volkswagen

The Wolfsburg-headquartered German motor vehicle manufacturer also serves as an official sponsor to the Uruguay men’s national football team.

Pilsen

Founded in 1866, Pilsen is a brand of beer produced in Uruguay. It is one of the most sold beers in the country with exports to multiple countries like Brazil, Spain, and the US.

DISA

DISA is a company founded in Denmark which since 1900 has been producing metal casting products. It initially started as a defence arms manufacturer most notable for producing the Madsen machine gun and the Madsen M-50.

Schneck

The Qlar Group (formerly Schenck Process Group) is an internationally active German mechanical engineering company based in Darmstadt. Since 2017, the company has belonged to the private equity firm Blackstone and, in April 2024, announced its rebranding to Qlar.

McDonald’s

McDonald’s Corporation is an American multinational fast food chain founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald in San Bernardino, California. 

Gatorade

Gatorade is an American brand of sports-themed beverage and food products built around its signature line of sports drinks. The drink is currently manufactured and distributed by PepsiCo. 

Gamma

Gamma Group is an Anglo-German tech company that sells surveillance software to governments and police forces around the world. However, in recent times, the company has come under strict scrutiny by human rights organisations for selling its FinFisher software to undemocratic regimes. 

Suat

The Montevideo-based medical services company signed up with Uruguay men’s national football team in 2016 as one of their official sponsors.

Suat is also a sponsor of Nacional FC and Club Atlético Peñarol from the Uruguayan Primera División.
