Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami CF have roped in blockchain software platform Polkadot as their Global Training Partner.
The deal will see the Polkadot logo feature on the front of the Inter Miami first team training kits and training tops.
All players and technical staff will also wear training tops with Polkadot branding during the official training sessions at the Florida Blue Training Centre, while travelling, and during pre-match warm-ups.
Polkadot and Inter Miami will also collaborate together on various fan experiences through fan zones at the club’s training centre and digital campus. Polkadot will also have branding presence at Chase Stadium, which will include prominent visibility both inside and outside the stadium, including branding via LEDs and other displays.
Euan Warren, Inter Miami Vice President of Partnerships, commented:
“Partnering with Polkadot as our global training partner is a natural fit for Inter Miami. Our shared vision for innovation makes this a collaboration that will resonate with our fans worldwide.”
Chrissy Hill, CLO and interim COO of Parity Technologies, Polkadot’s Leading Technical Contributor, said:
“We’re thrilled the innovative Polkadot community is continuing its strong commitment to the future of entertainment with its sponsorship of Inter Miami. Knowing this team of global soccer superstars will soon wear the brand we love and support on their jerseys is beyond exciting.“
