LA Clippers Sponsors 2021-2022

The LA Clippers are a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference of the NBA. Since they were founded in 1970, the Clippers have become a mainstay in the NBA.

The force of the Clippers was felt during their run to win consecutive division titles in the years 2013 and 2014. The Clippers have big things planned for their future, including some great tie-ups to provide the platform for what’s to come.

In light of the above, the following article discusses the various sponsorship deals and partnership agreements that the Clippers have in place.

 

Cedars-Sinai

The Clippers and Cedars-Sinai have had a healthy relationship since the commencement of their partnership in 2016. Cedars-Sinai is a hospital that looks to share the importance of physical wellbeing in communities through its partnership with the Clippers.

As per the deal, the Beverly Grove-based hospital serves as the official health provider to the Clippers. Cedars-Sinai appears regularly on the social media posts of the Clippers, particularly in the preventive play segment.

 

Honey

Honey is the official uniform partner of the Clippers. The Los Angeles-based company that engages in the sale of online coupons has a deal in place with the Clippers worth approximately US$7m or more annually. Its logo is affixed upon the matchday jerseys of the team. The Clippers also exhibit the company’s logo along the apron of the course next to the team benches.

 

State Farm

State Farm is also an official partner of the LA Clippers for the 2021/22 season. The American insurance company is based out of Illinois and looks to strengthen its relationship with the Clippers. Recent glimpses of State Farm have been through the advertising LED boards courtside and goodie giveaways to the Clippers’ fans.

 

Chick-fil-A

The partnership between Chick-fil-A and the Clippers has lasted for over seven years. The fast-food company and the Clippers have shared a strong enough bond to continue the brand’s services into the 2021/22 season. The partnership entails television promotions as well as in-game promotions. However, fans believe it is time to end the deal with Chick-fil-A, given their anti-LGBTQ+ stance and inappropriate civil beliefs.

 

Subway

Subway has been an official partner of the Clippers for a while now. The details of the deal between the Clippers and Subway have not been public. The internationally-successful sandwich company appears on the social media posts of the Clippers. A segment called The Subway Spotlight specifically showcases the food brand in posts.

  

Nike

Nike has yet another sports team to sponsor in the LA Clippers. The logo of Nike appears on the matchday jerseys that the Clippers’ players sport. Although the details of the deal are unknown, Nike also engages in the sale of official jerseys and merchandise of the Clippers.

 

Carmax

Carmax has had a longstanding relationship with NBA teams, including the LA Clippers. The auto company is the official auto retailer for the Clippers as well as the NBA. The company is the biggest retailer of used cars and engages in selling cars both in-store and through online mechanisms.

As part of the deal, Carmax also appears on the social media posts of the Clippers.

 

Verizon

The telecommunications giant has deals in place with 15 NBA teams for the 2021/22 season, of which the Clippers are one. The deal has been stated to be a multi-year contract, wherein Verizon will enable the partner stadiums with a 5G experience to provide the best possible service to the sides’ fans.

 

City National Bank

The City National Bank and the LA Clippers are continuing their partnership into the 2021/22 season. The two have been partners for a while now, and the partnership period has exceeded three years.

 

Amazon Web Services

In 2019, the LA Clippers decided to take the court visions experience even further by partnering with AWS. With Amazon growing in every sphere, the digital viewing experience was another monumental step in its growth. The partners have since improved the fan experience by giving the fans control over what they want to watch, including real-time data and multiple viewing modes.

 

Lexus

Lexus and the Clippers have had a longstanding partnership. After the first deal, the parties decided to renew the contract for yet another three years. Being an official partner, Lexus appears in broadcast, social media posts, print and the physical club’s space of the LA Clippers.

 

KIA America

KIA America is also an official sponsor of the Clippers for the 2021/22 season. KIA, a South Korean company, is one of the leading automobile brands in the world today. The two parties have held a longstanding partnership, the details of which are undisclosed. For now, the Clippers exhibit the automobile brand through their social media posts and as part of their Player of the Game segment.

 

Aspiration

Aspiration and the Clippers have entered into a multi-year contract to ensure sustainable development of stadiums for the Clippers, a deal completed in October 2021.

Headquartered in California, Aspiration looks to raise social awareness regarding sustainability. The two parties are together building the Intuit Dome, which is to become the home of the LA Clippers.

 

Intuit 

The Clippers and Intuit have entered into a 23-year-long strategic agreement. Intuit is a tech company that helps make Mint, TurboTax etc.

Intuit is working with the Clippers to build the Intuit Dome that will become the Clippers’ home from the 2024/25 season. The Clippers and Intuit entered into the agreement in September and are working towards building the Clippers’ new home.

 

Betway 

The UK-based betting company has stretched its market beyond the domestic limits. The company has signed deals with seven sports teams in the United States, with the Clippers being one of the lot. Betway wants to ensure that the expansion can include popular American sports such as American Football and Basketball.

The Clippers deal came to fruition in March 2021.

 

Harman

JBL’s Harman also has partnership deals in place with several sports teams in the NBA. Although the specifics of the agreement with the Clippers is unknown, the deal was finalised in February.

The music company has had a longstanding history of relationships with NBA teams and promotes and provides quality music to its consumers.

 

Theragun

Theragun has also been included as an official sponsor for the LA Clippers for the 2021/22 season. The deal between the two parties commenced in April 2021. The California-based company provides therapy devices that help in muscle activation, relaxation, and pain relief.
