23-year-old Markéta Vondroušová has had quite an eventual career thus far. She was a former World No. 1 during her junior days, winning two Grand Slam singles titles. She made a quick start to her professional career and soon shocked the world when she reached the final of the 2019 French Open women’s singles championship, becoming the fir’
st teenager to contest a Grand Slam final since Caroline Wozniacki almost a decade ago.
Vondroušová has a career-high ranking of World No. 14 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and has won one WTA title out of the four finals she has contested in. She also won a silver medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, though she missed more than half of 2022 due to surgery on a wrist injury.

Nike
Vondroušová has had a clothing and shoe sponsorship deal with American sporting goods company Nike since her junior days. It is believed that her association with Nike started at the start of her junior career in 2013.
Apart from Nike apparel, the 23-year-old also uses Nike’s Air Zoom Vapor Pro shoes on the tour.
Yonex
After her three-year association with Babolat ended, the then 17-year-old Vondroušová was snapped up by Japanese sports equipment manufacturing company Yonex at the start of 2016. As a part of the deal, Vondroušová uses Yonex-sponsored racquets; she currently uses the Yonex Ezone 100 racquet.

Babolat, the oldest tennis racquet company in the world, had a racquet sponsorship deal with Vondroušová for the first three years of her junior days. Their association began in January 2013 and lasted till December 2015.
