The Melbourne Stars have announced a partnership with La Roche-Posay, a skincare brand, bringing it on board as their Official Sunscreen Partner.
The deal, covering both the men’s and women’s teams of the Big Bash League franchise, will entail product sampling for spectators at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during Stars home games, with the brand also aiming to raise awareness regarding early identification of skin cancer.
Max Abbott, General Manager, Melbourne Stars, commented:
“Every cricket participant at every level of the game must be diligent when it comes to sun protection. We are delighted to partner with La Roche-Posay to help us reinforce this important message and also provide our players with a quality product from a world-leading brand.”
Hannah Audas, Marketing Director, La Roche-Posay, commented:
“Our collaboration with the Melbourne Stars represents a fantastic alignment of values bringing together La Roche-Posay’s unwavering commitment to skin health and protection with the Stars’ dedication to peak performance and community engagement. Just as the Melbourne Stars are focused on excellence on the field, we are passionate about providing dermatological solutions that support healthy, protected skin, especially for those active, outdoors under the Australian sun.”
