PokerStars ropes in MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador in India

Weeks ahead of IPL 2020’s brand new schedule, Indian cricket star, MS Dhoni, has been roped in as the brand ambassador of PokerStars. Interestingly, before Dhoni, Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, was the main face of this online poker portal. “With this collaboration, we hope to take online Poker to a larger audience,” Dhoni commented on this association.

Pokerstars released its first campaign of consisting of 3 TVCs with the ex Indian skipper on July 23rd. Titled ‘I’m In’, the campaign celebrates PokerStars’ attitude and its players who are always challenging themselves and each other, jump into new experiences and learn new skills.

Ankur Dewani, Chief Executive Officer, Sachiko Gaming, said, “With MS Dhoni at its heart, the campaign showcases how poker is a game for absolutely anyone, a truly universal sport. We cannot wait to see the response of our audience and players across the country.”
