Potential Super Bowl LVII MVP Early Candidates

The NFL regular season is officially finished and the playoffs are officially here. It will be intriguing to see who makes it to the Super Bowl and what upsets are going to happen along the way. The defending champions a season ago the Los Angeles Rams did not qualify this season, but the Cincinnati Bengals, the AFC champs, are back.

Super Bowl betting odds are currently out and it will be interesting to see who people bet on to win it all this season. Who are potentially some of the candidates to win Super Bowl LVII MVP this season when the time comes?

Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes will most likely be one of the early favorites to win Super Bowl LVII MVP. Mahomes is probably on his way to winning another NFL MVP Award. However, if Kansas City makes it to the Super Bowl and he wins MVP, it is a sign of bad luck. It has been a very long time since an MVP and a Super Bowl winner happened in the same year.

The St. Louis Rams last did it and so did Kurt Warner back in the early 2000s. Mahomes already won a Super Bowl MVP a few seasons ago against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs will have a tough road to get to the Super Bowl this season so it will be interesting to see what happens with them.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, Quarterback

Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills was unstoppable last postseason and it was a shame he didn’t get past the AFC Divisional Round. That was Buffalo’s defense’s fault. Will Allen have the same magic he had in the postseason last year and have it once again this season? Time will tell but it is very possible he does.

They haven’t been to the Super Bowl since the 1990s and haven’t won it all before. Josh Allen is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. The only concern with him is that he has been careless with the football in the red zone a lot this season and has thrown a ton of interceptions. However, they can’t win it all without him either.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals, Quarterback

Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals feels like he was born a winner and can get this team back to the big game. If he does, it feels like they won’t lose the big game this time around. Burrow has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season. He has that chip on his shoulder and is also cool, calm, and collected every single game.

He is a great leader inside the locker room and it goes a long way. Joe Burrow is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL also.

Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers, Defensive End

The San Francisco 49ers team has a ton of great pieces and all, but Nick Bosa is the best player on this football team. Bosa is going to win the Defensive Player of The Year Award most likely and he would maybe be a great candidate to be a Super Bowl MVP.

The last defensive player to win the award was Von Miller, OLB, for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl L against the Carolina Panthers. Bosa is the best defensive player on the field and can disrupt a game in a hurry.

Jalen Hurts, Quarterback, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are carried offensively by quarterback Jalen Hurts. This is also a team that currently has injuries and Hurts is one of them. Without his presence, they are a different football team altogether. Philadelphia is a good team with him. The Eagles haven’t been to the big game in a few years.

They won Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots. Jalen Hurts provides a spark to this football team that Gardner Minshew doesn’t.
