The Cleveland Cavaliers are a professional basketball team from the United States that was founded in 1970 as an expansion team. The Cavaliers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as an Eastern Conference Central Division member.
The Cavaliers’ strongest phase and the most promising campaigns came with the LeBron era. In 2016, LeBron James managed to win his third NBA ring and also his one and only Championship in his hometown, Cleveland.

Cleveland-Cliffs

Cleveland-Cliffs, a North American steel producer, in March 2022, announced a multi-year partnership with Cleveland Cavaliers.

The deal makes Cliffs the official jersey patch sponsor of the team; hence Cavs player uniforms have the company’s emblem on their left chest.  

Official Mobile Sports Betting Partner

Fubo Sportsbook

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Fubo Gaming announced their multi-year partnership in October 2021. In February 2022, both organisations signed a market access agreement, making Fubo Sportsbook the official mobile sports betting partner of the franchise. 

The extended partnership promotes the Fubo Sportsbook brand through an integrated marketing campaign highlighted by high-impact broadcast-visible signage; a presence on team television and radio game programming, as well as activation on Cavaliers digital and social channels and other marketing assets.

Official One-Click Checkout Partner

Fast

Cleveland Cavaliers and Fast, an online login and checkout service, announced a partnership in November 2021, to help fans buy official team merchandise on CavaliersTeamShop.com or while attending games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Official Embellishment Partner

Avery Dennison

In November 2022, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Avery Dennison, a materials science and solutions provider, established a collaboration that designates the Ohio-based business as the NBA team’s “Official Embellishment Partner.” 

As a distinguishing element of the partnership, the Avery Dennison emblem is visible on the players’ shooting jerseys and warm-up jackets.

Socios.com

Socios.com, a blockchain provider in the sports industry, in July 2021, announced its partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Socios.com, thus, has a digital presence on the Cavaliers’ social media accounts and is the presenting partner for the team’s website.

Socios.com also has the ability to leverage the Cavaliers’ marks and logos in connection with its various international marketing activities. In the 2021-22 season, the Socios logo was also visible on the team’s practice jerseys. In addition, the blockchain provider has a brand presence in-venue with broadcast-visible LED courtside signage.

Verizon

In May 2021, the Cleveland Cavaliers revealed that Verizon, a telecommunications services provider, is an official sponsor of the team as part of a multi-year agreement. Verizon is designated by the arrangement as the team’s sole 5G mobile partner.

Aside from the Cleveland Cavaliers, the following 15 NBA teams have installed Verizon’s 5G technology in their arenas: Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, and Washington Wizards.

SeatGeek

The Cleveland Cavaliers and SeatGeek announced a collaboration in November 2020, allowing the digital company to take over as the primary ticket seller for all events at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
