Visa Cash App RB F1 Team hand Yuki Tsunoda contract extension

Italian Formula One team Visa Cash App RB (VCARB) have announced a contract extension for their Japanese driver, Yuki Tsunoda, who will thus stay with them for the 2025 F1 season.

Tsunoda made his debut with the VCARB team in 2021, during their AlphaTauri days, replacing the then-outgoing Daniil Kvyat. He scored points on debut, impressing all on the grid.

Although he doesn’t have the best machinery under him, Tsunoda continues to impress. Now in his fourth season with VCARB, he continues getting praise from the Red Bull higher-ups.

Speaking about continuing with Visa Cash App RB, Yuki Tsunoda commented:

“I’m very happy to be staying with Visa Cash App RB and it’s a good feeling to have my future decided so early in the year.  For that, I want to thank everyone at Red Bull and Honda who have played such an important role in my career and will continue to do so. The team has a big development project ahead and I’m excited to be part of it.
