FIFA joins hands with YouTube for World Cup 2026

FIFA has announced a new partnership with YouTube which will see the video-sharing platform become a Preferred Platform for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. The partnership will see YouTube become an Official Media Partner of the World Cup and give them more chances to have expanded coverage of the tournament. YouTube will gain rights to publish extended highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, Shorts and video-on-demand content and for the first-time ever in the history of the World  Cup, will have the option to live stream the first 10 minutes of each game and also fully stream select games on their platform. 

FIFA will also provide a host of YouTube creators access to the World Cup where they can work on human stories, tactical breakdowns and behind-the-scenes action.
