Grigor Dimitrov: Sponsors | Brand Endorsements

Born on 16 May 1991, Grigor Dimitrov is already regarded as one of the greatest Bulgarian tennis players of all time. The Bulgarian achieved a career-high single’s ranking of world no 3 and is one of the most successful Bulgarian male tennis players to date. His popularity and success on the court over the last decade have compelled brands to invest in him. Here is a brief look at his main sponsors and endorsements. 

Present Sponsors 

Lacoste 

Lacoste S.A. is a French clothing, footwear, and accessories company. Founded in 1933 by tennis player René Lacoste and entrepreneur André Gillier, the brand is famous for its alligator logo. After ending his near decade-long association with American company Nike, in May 2023, Grigor Dimitrov and Lacoste announced the signing of a three-year partnership deal. As per the deal, the Bulgarian will only wear Lacoste clothing, footwear, and accessories during tour matches. 

Rolex 

Founded in 1905, Rolex is a British-founded Swiss luxury watch designer and manufacturer based in Geneva. Grigor Dimitrov signed an endorsement deal with Rolex in 2014 on a multi-year deal. Since then, the Bulgarian has featured in multiple advertisements for the brand. Reportedly, the deal was worth around US$500,000 per year back in 2014 when it was signed originally. 

Haagen-Dazs 

Häagen-Dazs is an American ice cream brand, established by Reuben and Rose Mattus in The Bronx, New York, in 1960. Back in January 2018, the General Mills-owned ice cream brand roped in Grigor Dimitrov as its global ambassador on a multi-year deal.

Vitamin Well 

In January 2019, the Swedish functional beverage brand, Vitamin Well, roped in Dimitrov to its global ambassadors’ team. As an ambassador, Dimitrov participates in activities concerning leading tennis events and engages in social media activities together with Vitamin Well.

Nike 

Nike is an American multinational corporation that engages in the designing, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of sportswear and footwear products all over the world. The Bulgarian has been partners with the American company since 2014 but their association came to an end in early 2023, with Dimitrov signing a new three-year contract with French Company, Lacoste.

Sunfare 

Sunfare is an American healthy meal and food delivery company. Sunfare prepares personalised healthy meals and delivers food on a day-to-day basis. The Phoenix-based company roped in Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov as a brand ambassador on a one-year deal in March 2022. 

FanJolt 

Fanjolt is an American online application that connects fans with their favourite celebrities and icons throughout numerous mediums of live engagement events including a live broadcast, 1-on-1 video chats, text chats, and shoutouts. In June 2021, the former world no. 3, Grigor Dimitrov, announced his partnership with the Phoenix-based company with a social media post on his Instagram account.
