In May 2016, Sharma was roped in by Swiss watchmaker Hublot as a brand ambassador. To mark the partnership, Hublot gifted the Indian batter with a Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph 2016 ICC World Twenty20 edition.
Sharma has appeared in numerous advertisements for Hublot since then.
In November 2013, global sports apparel and accessories giant Adidas signed Sharma as its brand ambassador. At the time, Sharma was welcomed into the Adidas family by Sachin Tendulkar. He was signed by Adidas right after his debut Test series against the West Indies in 2013.
As a brand ambassador, apart from endorsing Adidas’ products on the pitch, Sharma has been the face of numerous advertisement campaigns and initiatives run by the brand. An environmentalist at heart, Sharma has teamed up with the German company on multiple occasions to send across the message of a sustainable future.
In March 2019, Sharma extended his partnership with the company.
In June 2018, Sharma signed up as a brand ambassador with Japan’s number one television brand, SHARP. Sharma is the face of the brand in the country and was even a part of its launch campaign in India, which was held just after the partnership with Sharma was announced.
In April 2020, Sharma joined Dubai-based coaching academy CricKingdom as one of its brand ambassadors. The platform, which helps connect students, coaches, academies and facilities into an integrated ecosystem, has Sharma as the face of its brand and part of its advertising campaigns.
In October 2019, international sports brand Trusox signed Rohit Sharma as its Indian brand ambassador. Known for its performance-enhancing grip socks that help athletes maximise the grip in their footwear, Trusox has Sharma endorsing its products on his social media platforms apart from appearing in its promotional marketing campaigns.
Sports and lifestyle brand New Era joined forces with Sharma in 2019, which saw the Indian batter not only become one of the brand’s ambassadors but also launch an exclusive collection of caps that he had designed himself.
As a brand ambassador, Sharma endorses New Era’s products in various marketing campaigns.
VIP Industries’ brand Aristocrat roped in Sharma as its brand ambassador in 2017. Since then, Sharma has promoted its products through his social media and has also appeared in multiple TV campaigns for the brand.
India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of beverages, Rasna announced Sharma as its brand ambassador in 2020. As part of the deal, Sharma is a part of Rasna’s television and digital campaigns.
Leading tyre manufacturer CEAT signed Sharma as its brand ambassador in 2015 on an initial three-year deal. The deal also saw CEAT become Sharma’s bat sponsor.
Sharma and CEAT renewed their partnership for a further three years in October 2018.
International eyewear brand Oakley roped in Sharma as its brand ambassador in August 2020. Sharma promotes Oakley’s products on social media and appears in numerous television and digital campaigns. Sharma also sports the brand’s eyewear on the cricket field.
One of the country’s leading battery suppliers and manufacturers, Mittal Batteries signed Sharma as an ambassador for one of its brands, Massimo Batteries.
Along with appearing in the brand’s media campaigns, Sharma also has a tagline for the brand curated around him called #EnergyHitmanKa.
Conekt Gadgets, a developer of smartphone peripherals and accessories, roped in Sharma as its brand ambassador in August 2018. The company’s products include power banks, wall chargers, data cables, car mounts, car chargers and wireless chargers.
Through their partnership, Sharma has helped the brand launch into the Indian market.
In December 2019, Sharma became the first brand ambassador for LaLiga in India. He also became the first-ever non-footballer to become an ambassador for the Spanish top-flight of football.
Sharma joining the Spanish league was a move LaLiga had been working on for a while. Since 2017, LaLiga was trying to break into the Indian market, and with the addition of Sharma into its family, the league hoped to reach out to the millions of football fans in the country and grow its brand in the process.
Diversified financial services company IIFL roped in Sharma as its first-ever brand ambassador in May 2020. Apart from appearing in advertising campaigns, Sharma has also been a part of IIFL’s public service messages regarding COVID-19.
One of the leading beauty accessory brands, Vega announced Rohit Sharma as one of its brand ambassadors in October 2020. Sharma was roped in by the brand ahead of the launch of its grooming appliances and the Vega Men division.
A financial platform that provides monetary assistance for educational purposes, Financekeeper announced Sharma as one of its brand ambassadors in November 2020. Sharma’s partnership sees him educate the public about Financekeeper and endorse the brand.
In February 2016, Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan announced Rohit Sharma as one of its global brand ambassadors. Along with Sharma, Nissan also signed Andre Russell and Suzie Bates, building upon its existing partnership with the ICC.
In March 2018, ahead of that year’s IPL season, the Mumbai Indians signed online travel company GoIbibo as their principal sponsor. As part of the deal, the campaign for the partnership was led by MI skipper Rohit Sharma.
Birla Sun Life Insurance
Birla Sun Life Insurance signed Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Virender Sehwag as its brand ambassadors back in 2009. Sharma was the face of multiple campaigns run by the insurance company, and the cricketers were part of the Wealth with Protection Solutions program.
Coimbatore-based footwear brand Walkaroo roped in Sharma as one of its brand ambassadors in 2016. Sharma was the youth-centric brand’s first-ever brand ambassador, and the brand used Sharma’s popularity with the youth to reach out to wider audiences.
Mumbai-based Indian pharmaceutical company Glenmark has Sharma signed on as a brand ambassador for Candid Powder — the company’s consumer care division.
EdTech brand Infinity Learn by Sri Chaitanya signed the Mumbai Indians’ skipper as its brand ambassador in October 2021. Through its partnership with Sharma, Infinity Learn aspires to become one of the country’s leading EdTech platforms.
When mobile phone manufacturer OPPO became the main sponsor of the Indian national cricket team in August 2017, Sharma was roped in as one of its brand ambassadors.
Tech-driven lifestyle electronics brand TAGG signed Sharma as one of its brand ambassadors in September 2021. Sharma’s appointment was a move by the brand to scale to newer heights using The Hitman’s image.
The telecom operator joined the Mumbai Indians as an associate sponsor in 2013, the year the Mumbai franchise won their first IPL title. The deal saw Rohit Sharma become one of the brand’s ambassadors, promoting the brand via social media and marketing campaigns.

World’s number one potato chip brand Lay’s signed Rohit Sharma as one of its brand ambassadors in 2013. Apart from Sharma, his fellow teammates, MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan were also roped in for a Lay’s campaign that saw the brand launch six new flavours.
