Adelaide Strikers Sponsors 2023/24

Following are the organisations serving as sponsors and brand partners to Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Adelaide Strikers and enjoying a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets during the 2023/24 BBL season.

Pepperstone 

A trading platform that was established in 2010 in Melbourne, Pepperstone was announced as the Strikers’ Principal Partner in December 2022 ahead of BBL|12.

As part of the deal, the Pepperstone logo features on the chest and sleeve of the Strikers matchday shirt.

Flinders University 

Flinders University was announced as the Principal Partner of the Strikers on the eve of the 2023 Weber Women’s Big Bash League (BBL) season.

As part of the deal, the university’s name appears front and centre of the Strikers matchday shirt. The deal also aims to support women’s sports through the institution’s research facilities in sports science. 

People’s Choice 

People’s Choice is an Australian credit union that is headquartered in Adelaide and offers insurance and other financial services. Back in 2011, it was one of the first companies to partner with a BBL franchise, with the Strikers being one of the first BBL sides to sign a sponsorship deal with People’s Choice.

People’s Choice has remained on the Strikers sponsorship roster since then, covering both their men’s and women’s teams. Apart from branding rights, the partnership also entails joint community initiatives and exclusive experience opportunities.

The partnership was last extended in December 2022.

Tool Kit Depot

An all-under-one-roof power tool, equipment, safety and workwear destination for trade professionals, Tool Kit Depot was signed as a Principal Partner of the Adelaide Strikers ahead of the 2022 WBBL season. 

As per the deal, the Tool Kit Depot logo appears on the front of the Strikers matchday shirt. Officially, Tool Kit Depot is a Major Partner of the Strikers.

V Energy 

V Energy, an energy drink first released in 1997 in New Zealand and produced by Frucor Suntory, was announced as the Official Drink of the Adelaide Strikers ahead of BBL|12. 

As part of the deal, V Energy presented the New Year’s Eve concert at the Adelaide Oval last year and, as per this year, continues to serve the Strikers in the same capacity for the 2023/24 BBL season.

West End 

Brewed by Sydney-based alcohol producer Lion, West End is a lager brand, and its association with South Australian cricket goes far beyond the Adelaide Strikers.

West End has been a supporter of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) for over 70 years — a partnership that was extended in July 2021 as part of a four-year agreement. West End has been an official sponsor of the Strikers since the inaugural season of the BBL.

In South Australian cricket, apart from sponsoring the Adelaide Strikers, West End also serves as the title sponsor to the South Australia cricket team, who are thusly known as the West End Redbacks. It also serves as the naming rights sponsor to the SACA-organised Premier Cricket competition, which is thusly called the West End Premier Cricket competition.

Nova 919 

Operating at 91.9 MHz, Nova 919 is a commercial radio station operating in Adelaide and owned by Sydney-based Australian entertainment company NOVA Entertainment.

Nova 919 serves as an official sponsor to many sporting teams in Adelaide, of which the Strikers are one. Apart from branding rights, the partnership also entails Nova 919 offering unique experiences and opportunities to the Strikers fanbase.

FIVEaa

FIVEaa is a 24-hour, sole talkback radio station in Adelaide that operates at 1395 kHz AM and is also owned by NOVA Entertainment.

Apart from branding rights, the deal grants FIVEaa a dedicated lounge at Adelaide Oval, home to the Adelaide Strikers, which is regularly frequented by the team and their guests, providing opportunities for producing social media content.

Kookaburra 

Sporting equipment manufacturer Kookaburra announced a multi-year extension of its long-term partnership with the SACA in September 2023, thereby continuing as its Official Ball and Equipment Sponsor.

Through this partnership, Kookaburra also serves as a Major Partner to the Adelaide Strikers.

News Corp 

A media and information company that started as a newspaper in 1920 in Australia, News Corp has been listed as an Official Partner of the Adelaide Strikers for the 2023/24 BBL season on their website.

SA Water | Government of SA

In May 2022, SA Water and the Government of South Australia were announced as Official Partners of the Adelaide Strikers as well as the South Australian Cricket Association.

The partnership aims to improve technology and water efficiency to aid cricket fans and the wider community.

Oaks 

The Macquarie St, Hobart-located four-star hotel is also an Official Partner of the Adelaide Strikers as well as their accommodation provider of choice.

Bleasdale 

In November 2021, Bleasdale Vineyards was announced as the Official Wine Partner of the SACA and the Adelaide Strikers. Since then, the brand has enjoyed being the Strikers’ exclusive hospitality wine partner.

Big Screen Video (BSV) 

Australia’s most trusted LED screen supplier, Big Screen Video was included as a Supply Partner of the Adelaide Strikers ahead of the 2023/24 BBL season.

Masuri

In January 2022, Masuri announced a multi-year safety partnership with the South Australian Cricket Association, becoming its Official and Exclusive Helmet and Neck Protection supplier. 

As per the deal, Masuri has been providing helmets and neck protectors to the SACA and its various teams, the most prominent ones being the Adelaide Strikers, the West End Redbacks, and the Statewide Super South Australian Scorpions.

Kia

Adelaide City Kia was announced as the Official Automotive Partner of the Adelaide Striker in November 2022, ahead of the 2022/23 men’s BBL season. The deal between the two parties was signed for an initial term of two years. 

As part of the deal, Adelaide City Kia provides a fleet of Kia vehicles to the Strikers staff — both playing and non-playing.

Fulltrack AI

Cricket analysis and analytics company Fulltrack AI was announced as a Supply Partner of the Adelaide Strikers ahead of the 2023/24 BBL season.

Simonds Homes

Australian home builder Simonds Homes was announced in December 2023 as the Official Building Partner of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and the Adelaide Strikers.

As per the deal, Simonds Homes gains a significant presence at Adelaide Oval.

Route 9

South Australian distillery Route 9 announced the commencement of its two-year partnership with SACA and the Adelaide Strikers in December 2023, which sees its Square 1 Gin serve as the Official Gin Partner to both the parties.

As per the deal, Square 1 Gin gains visibility at Adelaide Oval as well as at official SACA and Strikers events.

Cancer Council SA

Cancer Council SA serves as the Adelaide Strikers’ Charity Partner. The partnership attempts to support South Australia residents impacted by cancer. One such method was launching the “Hit Cancer For Six” initiative, which was aimed at raising funds to support the institution’s work.

Cancer Council and the Adelaide Strikers last renewed their partnership in December 2022.
