Ipswich Town FC Sponsors 2023/24

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across Ipswich Town Football Club’s (ITFC) physical and digital assets as their sponsors for the 2023/24 season.

Principal Partners 

EdSheeran.com

Global pop music icon Ed Sheeran signed a partnership agreement with Ipswich Town FC, his favourite club, in May 2021 to become their front-of-shirt sponsor from the 2021/22 season onwards. 

As part of the deal, Sheeran was named in the official Ipswich Town first-team squad and handed the #17 shirt. Hence, after Kieran McKenna’s side pulled off a record-breaking season in England’s third tier in 2022/23, Sheeran also received a League One Promotion medal. 

Halo Service Solutions 

Halo Service Solutions, a Stowmarket-based service management specialist, became a Principal Partner of the club in January 2024.

As per the deal currently set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season, the Halo logo appears on the left sleeve of the ITFC senior men’s team matchday shirt. 

Primary Partners 

MSC 

In August 2022, Mediterranean Shipping Company or MSC, the largest container shipping company in the world by both fleet size and cargo capacity, became Ipswich Town FC’s training and bench wear sponsor. 

In July 2023, MSC announced that it had signed a new three-year extension agreement with the club and would thus continue sponsoring their men’s team’s training and bench wear, while also supporting the ITFC Girls’ Academy Elite Training Centre.

In May 2024, MSC announced that the company had signed a new three-year extension deal with the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

First Bus

In May 2024, Ipswich Town FC announced signing a multi-year partnership agreement with First Bus, solidifying the UK-based transportation giant as an official club partner through the end of the 2026/27 season.

This association is aimed at providing transportation to the Ipswich Town fans, offering complimentary Park-and-Ride (P&R) services to and from selected home matches from Martlesham and Copdock.

Umbro 

The English sports equipment and sportswear manufacturer announced the signing of a four-year partnership agreement with Ipswich Town FC in June 2022, becoming in the process the main kit supplier of both their men’s and women’s teams. 

Umbro previously supplied the club with kits from 1989 to 1995 as well. 

Fleximize 

In September 2023, Ipswich-based alternate finance provider Fleximize was roped in as the club’s official digital partner.

As part of the multi-year deal, Fleximize acts as the headline sponsor of TownTV, the club’s in-house channel, and the official Ipswich Town Podcast, while also enjoying website and pitch-side advertising rights.

University of Suffolk 

In February 2024, Ipswich Town FC announced the signing of the University of Suffolk as a Primary Partner.

The partnership is for an initial three-and-a-half year period, during which time the relationship between the two entails giving the students studying in Suffolk unique opportunities to undertake placements at Portman Road, the ITFC home ground, in order to gain experience in professional football and expand their skill sets.

Elite Partners 

Barrington Hibbert Associates

In September 2023, Ipswich Town FC roped in Barrington Hibbert Associates, an executive search and advisory firm, as the Principal Partner of the Ipswich Town Foundation, their official charity arm.

As per the deal, Barrington Hibbert Associates support the Foundation’s work to build an empowered, inspired and inclusive community, with a growing programme that offers opportunities for all ages to come together through football. Barrington Hibbert Associates also sponsors Ipswich Town Women’s training kit and bench wear. 

Greene King 

A pub company with more than 220 years brewing heritage in Suffolk, Greene King was ITFC’s shirt sponsor for six years between 1995 and 2001, after which it continued its relationship with the club by having its name on the South Stand at Portman Road from 2001 until the summer of 2009. 

The partnership was rekindled in 2014 with a five-year agreement that saw a revamping of the bars at the stadium, with the corner bars in the Sir Bobby Stand renamed the 78 Bar and the 81 Bar. 

In August 2019, the club agreed a new five-year contract with Greene King, which sees Greene King IPA and East Coast IPA continue at bars around Portman Road.

Birketts 

In November 2023, British law firm Birketts signed a partnership agreement with the club. 

As per the deal, Birketts acts as a sponsor of the club’s Portman Road Boardroom, with its branding placed on the boardroom door at Portman Road. The Birketts logo also features on the front and back of the club’s official matchday sheets. 

Carabao Sport 

In February 2024, Ipswich Town FC announced a partnership agreement with Carabao Sport.

As part of the deal, Carabao Sport acts as an elite partner of the club, with its low-calorie isotonic drinks made available to ITFC players both before and after matches as well as at during training. 

Premier Partners 

The KBB Centre 

In August 2022, The KBB Centre, a local, family-run company that specialises in the designing, planning, and installation of kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms, extended its support to the club by becoming the new sponsor of the Sir Bobby Robson North Stand at Portman Road. 

As per the deal the deal, the stand is officially known as “Sir Bobby Robson North Stand, sponsored by The KBB Centre.” 

SEERS Medical 

SEERS, a family-run business based in Debenham, Suffolk, became an official partner of the club in August 2022. 

As part of the deal, SEERS Medical has provided four medical couches at the club’s training ground, Playford Road, along with three medical couches at Portman Road. These couches are used by the club’s medical department and physical therapists in supporting player treatment, both in the days before and after the games as well as on matchdays at the stadium.

Jacobsen

Jacobsen Group, an American manufacturer of lawnmowers and garden tractors, has been a premier partner of the Ipswich Town Community Trust since 2020. 

Associate Partners 

YourHome

YourHome, one of the most recognised and trusted estate agencies in and across Suffolk, is an Associate Partner of the club. 

Vertas 

Vertas, a multi-service facilities management provider, initially signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the club in September 2016.

Currently, Vertas sponsors the Ipswich Town Foundation’s disability provision, with the deal set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 season. 

Cotswold Gas 

In October 2023, the Ipswich Town Foundation announced Cotswold Gas Solutions as the new sponsor of its “Post-16 Football & Education” programme for the 2023/24 season.

The sponsorship puts the Cotswold Gas Solutions logo on the front of the shirts of Ipswich Town’s Post-16 teams competing in the Community & Education Football Alliance League, the National Football Youth League, and the Association of Colleges League, as well as on the front of the team’s training top.

CSCM 

In August 2022, Ipswich Town FC signed a two-year sponsorship deal with CSCM, roping it in as their Official IT and Cloud Partner. 

The deal includes matchday onsite support, support for major events, day-to-day IT support calls and troubleshooting, as well as proactive monitoring.

SEH BAC 

SEH BAC, an Ipswich-based home improvement company, has been sponsoring the club for nearly 30 years now.

In June 2022, SEH BAC signed a new two-year partnership agreement with the club, becoming in the process their dugout sponsor until the end of the 2023/24 season. 

Ipswich Buses 

Owned by Ipswich Borough Council, Ipswich Buses, a bus company, is the official bus sponsor of the club.

CNet Training 

CNet Training, a Bury St Edmunds-based company, first became a sponsor of the club in 2020.

In June 2022, CNet Training and Ipswich Town FC agreed on a new three-year extension deal, as per which CNet continues sponsoring the Ipswich Town U23 team, with its logo featuring on the front of their home and away shirts until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Ashford Wright 

Ashford Wright, a company specialising in building solutions and real estate, is a long-time Associate Partner of the club.

The company currently sponsors Ipswich Town FC’s annual club award ceremony as well as their U9 team. 

Salthouse Harbour Hotel   

In February 2023, the club announced Salthouse Harbour Hotel as their official ball team sponsor. 

As part of the deal, on matchdays at Portman Road, the Salthouse Harbour Hotel logo features prominently on bibs worn by the pitch-side ball team.
