Adidas

Adidas has been a long-time partner of Son, since his youth career with Hamburger SV in 2008. 

Son sports adidas boots on the pitch and has launched many limited-edition boots over the course of his partnership with the German sportswear giant. 

Burberry

UK luxury fashion house Burberry announced Son as a brand ambassador in June 2022. Son kicked off his partnership with the brand by headlining Burberry’s pre-Autumn/Winter 2022 Collection. 

Calvin Klein

In August 2022, Son was revealed as a brand ambassador of Calvin Klein in South Korea. The Spurs star kicked off the partnership through the brand’s fall campaign of that year. 

Son also promotes Calvin Klein’s sustainability message, promoting clothes made from recycled materials. 

ASUS ROG

Taiwanese multinational computer and electronics manufacturer ASUS roped in Son as a brand partner for its “Team ROG” (Republic of Gamers) initiative in November 2023. Son joined the likes of Alan Walker, Kathleen Veronica Belsten (Loserfruit), Nyjah Houston and Karl-Anthony Towns. 

As per the deal, Son takes part in various social media campaigns for the ROG brand. 

AIA

In January 2023, AIA roped in Son as their first brand ambassador for Singapore, with the South Korean star promoting holistic wellness in the region. 

Tiger Beer

In January 2022, premium Asian beer brand Tiger Beer roped in Son as a brand ambassador.

As per the deal, Son, through various campaigns and advertisements, promotes a message of putting aside one’s fears and achieving their ambitions. 

Samsung

In July 2023, Samsung announced Son as a brand ambassador.

As per the deal, the South Korean star works to promote the Samsung Galaxy brand, appearing in various campaigns and advertisements promoting Galaxy products. 

TUMI

The luxury manufacturer of suitcases and travel products announced Son as a brand ambassador in January 2022 for its “Alpha Bravo” collection.

Gatorade

Son was announced as a Gatorade brand ambassador in August 2023. 

The partnership sees Son also work with EA Sports as part of an agreement between PepsiCo and EA Sports to “inspire the next generation to love and play sport, whether by enabling greater participation through gaming”.

Pepsi

The American soft drink brand roped in Son as a global football ambassador in September 2023 on a multi-year deal for its tie-in campaigns with EA Sports FC, which is a rebrand of EA Sports’ football simulation video game series FIFA.

Son Heung-min’s Charity Work

  • In February 2019, one of Son’s sponsors, Gillette, teamed up with Shoot for Love, a campaign organised by Be Kind and the Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer (KACLC). The collaboration entailed a five-minute YouTube video featuring Son titled “London Life”. Gillette pledged to donate one South Korean won to the Childhood Cancer Foundation for every view recorded on the video.
  • In April 2019, Son donated £100,000 to the relief effort going towards dealing with the forest fires that ravaged the mountainous Goseong region in South Korea.
  • In March 2020, he donated £65,000 to the coronavirus victims in South Korea.
