Kit Suppliers are perhaps the most important sponsors of a soccer club. These sports brands ensure that the clubs are provided with top-class equipment and apparels that directly affect the quality of games. From time to time, lucrative deals are signed and the contracts to provide kits are shifted from one sponsor to another. Let’s take a look at the kit deals that are active for 2019-2020 season.
1. Arsenal – Adidas
After Arsenal’s contract with Puma ended with the 2018-2019 season, the club joined forces with the rival brand, Adidas. The deal was estimated to be around $391 million.
2. Manchester City – Puma
Manchester City signed a kit contract with Puma in the summer of 2019. The 10-year deal was rumored to be worth $860 million.
3. Leicester City – Adidas
German sportswear brand, Adidas, has been serving as the official technical kit partner of Leicester city since June 2018. Before this deal, Puma was the official kit maker of the club.
4. West Ham United – Umbro
Umbro has been the kit manufacturer of West Ham United since 2008. In 2019, the deal was further extended by 4 years.
5. AFC Bournemouth – Umbro
At the beginning of the 2017-2018 season, Umbro joined forces with AFC Bournemouth to make the latter’s official soccer kit.
6. Tottenham Hotspur – Nike
Tottenham Hotspur’s and Nike’s partnership began in 2017 and will run until 2033.
7. Manchester United – Adidas
Adidas secured a kit manufacturing deal with Manchester United in 2015.
8. Burnley – Umbro
In July 2019, Burnley parted ways with Puma and joined hands with Umbro.
9. Sheffield United – Adidas
Sheffield United’s kits are manufactured by Adidas since 2014.
10. Chelsea – Nike
Chelsea and Nike entered into a partnership in 2017. This kit deal was estimated to be close to $1.1 Billion.
11. Liverpool – New Balance
New Balance joined hands with Liverpool in 2012.
12. Crystal Palace – Puma
Weeks before the start of 2018-2019 season, Puma became the official kit supplier of Crystal Palace.
13. Southampton – Under Armour
Southampton players have been using Under Armour made kits since 2016.
14. Everton – Umbro
Umbro became the kit supplier of Everton in 2014.
15. Brighton and Hove Albion – Nike
Brighton and Hove Albion and Nike became partners in 2014.
16. Norwich City – Errea
Norwich CIty first joined forces with Errea in the summer of 2011.
17. Newcastle United – Puma
Puma has supplying soccer kit to Newcastle United since 2010.
18. Aston Villa – Kappa
Italian sportswear brand, Kappa, became the principal partner of Aston Villa in 2019.
19. Wolverhampton Wanderers – Adidas
In May 2018, Adidas replaced Puma as the kit providers of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
20. Watford – Adidas
Watford and Adidas’ three-year partnership began in the summer of 2017.
