Following are the companies and organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to Ligue 1 club Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC) and enjoy a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets.
MAIN PARTNERS
New Balance – The Boston-based sportswear brand replaced rival American brand Nike as LOSC’s new kit supplier in June 2016 on an initial five-year deal. Lille became the first French football team to partner with New Balance.
In March 2021, this partnership was further extended in a “long-term” agreement.
Boulanger – Associated with the club since 2009, the Lesquin-headquartered French retail brand was announced as the principal front-of-shirt sponsor for LOSC’s training and matchday kits (for league and European outings) in June 2019. The deal also covers the club’s esports and women’s teams.
OFFICIAL PARTNERS
Winamax – The French online poker and sportsbook operator originally partnered with LOSC in July 2018, becoming the official shorts sponsor for their matchday kits on a two-year deal. This partnership was extended in August 2020 in another two-year agreement.
Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe – Part of the French cooperative banking group Crédit Mutuel, the Lille-headquartered bancassurance cooperative is a sponsor of both LOSC and their home ground, the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
A partner of LOSC for well over 20 years, Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe has worked with the club with numerous off-pitch initiatives, while offering its customers LOSC-themed products such as payment cards. It also supports over 450 events held annually at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy as one of the stadium’s sponsors.
The LOSC partnership also covers their women’s team, with Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe serving them as a major partner. It also currently serves as their front-of-matchday-shirt sponsor.
Rika – The Micheldorf-headquartered Austrian stove manufacturer was announced as an Official Partner of LOSC in August 2021 on a two-year deal. Rika’s logo features on the front of Lille’s matchday shirts, right above the logo of the kit manufacturer (currently New Balance).
St. Once – St. Once is a French online catering service based out of Meyzieu.
OFFICIAL SUPPLIERS
Adecco – The Zurich-headquartered staffing and recruitment firm has been a partner of LOSC for over two decades. As an Official Supplier to the club, Adecco helps provide over several thousand temporary catering jobs for LOSC’s reception areas every time they play at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
The two parties last renewed their partnership in November 2020 in a two-year agreement.
Groupe Dugardin (Dugardin Group) – Groupe Dugardin is a French car dealership based in Faches-Thumesnil. It has served as LOSC’s Official Supplier for vehicles for over 20 years.
Hyundai – In January 2019, the French division of the South Korean automotive giant (Hyundai Motor France), in collaboration with Groupe Dugardin, was announced as an Official Supplier of LOSC.
Apart from branding rights, the deal sees Hyundai supply a fleet of vehicles to club. These vehicles are provided via the Groupe Dugardin car dealership.
Coca-Cola – The American non-alcoholic beverage giant became an Official Supplier of LOSC in August 2020 on a three-year deal.
Apart from branding rights, the deal sees Coca-Cola’s drinks made available at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy during matchdays. The partnership also entails national-level activations to promote Coca-Cola across the country.
INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS
City of Lille (Ville de Lille) – The official online portal for the city of Lille is listed as one of the Institutional Partners on the LOSC website.
E 2019, Hello Lille describes itself as an “attractiveness agency” dedicated to promoting the metropolitan area of Lille. Its mission includes promoting Lille as a premium tourism destination (both business and leisure), organise engaging events across the region and attract new prospective investors.
As an Institutional Partner of LOSC, Hello Lille aims to increase its brand value and by extension, that of the city. The partnership also sees Hello Lille serve as the above-club-crest sponsor for LOSC’s away matchday shirts.
Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL) (Lille European Metropolis) – The MEL is an intercommunal structure that encompasses the entire metropolitan area of Lille. This includes over 90 towns and villages and boasts over 1.2 million inhabitants (2.2 million including the Belgian region).
Here’s an excerpt from the MEL website providing a detailed definition regarding the métropole:
“MEL is a Public intermunicipal cooperation authority, established by the law of the December 31st of 1966. It gathers more than one million citizens on a territory which is both rural and urban, made by big towns and by villages. The MEL intervenes in essential domains: town and country planning, culture, household waste, sustainable development, water and purification, economy and employment, public space and public road network, Europe and international attractivity, housing environment and housing, urban affairs, nature and living environment, sport, tourism, transport and mobility, accessibility for disabled people, crematoriums.”
The MEL is one of the founding members of Hello Lille and also an Institutional Partner of LOSC. The partnership sees it serve as the above-club-crest sponsor for LOSC’s home matchday shirts.
OFFICIAL REGIONAL PARTNER
Hua Ti Hui (HTH) – The Chinese betting brand became LOSC’s first-ever Asian partner when it was announced as their Official Regional Partner for Asia in January 2021.
As per the deal, HTH gets virtual LED branding rights for the Asian broadcast of LOSC’s home matches.
The current deal between the two parties is set to run until June 2023.
LABEL LOSC
BR Events – BR Events is a French signage company based out of Roubaix.
Intersport – The Bern-headquartered Swiss sporting goods retailer was announced as an LOSC partner in April 2019. Apart from branding rights, the deal also grants Intersport merchandising rights for the club. Intersport manages the operations of LOSC’s official shops as well as the sale of all club-themed products.
IZAC – IZAC is a French luxury fashion brand headquartered in Paris. Since 2018, it has been providing formalwear to LOSC’s players and staff.
LOSC CLUB
McDonald’s – The Chicago-headquartered American fast-food giant has been a partner of LOSC since 2001. Apart from branding rights, the partnership sees McDonald’s offer LOSC’s season ticket holders exclusive discount on its offerings, among other co-branded initiatives.
LOSC INNOV’ – The LOSC INNOV’ label was introduced by LOSC in 2017 to promote and support innovative local projects.
Zefir – Zefir is a Lille-based real estate start-up founded in July 2020. It was provided the LOSC INNOV’ label by the club in June 2021.
