American Sportswear brand Nike signed Van Dijk as a brand ambassador in 2019. Nike also created a special feature on the Dutchman, titled “Birthplace of Dreams”, which traced his football journey.

Van Dijk also featured in Nike’s “Air Max 270 React” photoshoot.

WHOOP 

WHOOP is a manufacturer of wearable performance monitoring watches.

In 2021, Van Dijk became an investor in WHOOP as well as a brand ambassador.

JBL

JBL, short for James Bullough Lansing, is an American multinational audio equipment manufacturer based out of Los Angeles.

JBL signed Van Dijk as a brand ambassador in 2021. It also featured him in a collaboration with Vivendi (a mass media content and communication developing company) for designing an exclusive Afrobeat-inspired clothing collection.

Heineken

Dutch brewing giant Heineken roped in Van Dijk in 2024 as brand ambassador on a multi-year deal.

This collaboration was handled by Quattro Sports Group, a sports marketing and content production agency. Van Dijk also featured in Heineken’s “Cheers to the real hardcore fans” campaign.

EA SPORTS FC

Van Dijk was the the cover star for the EA Sports FIFA 20 Champions League Edition. The EA Sports FIFA series has since been rebranded as EA Sports FC.

SPONSER

SPONSER is an electrolyte-based sports drink owned by the TC Pharmaceutical Industries in Thailand. It partnered with Van Dijk in 2018.

In 2024, Virgil van Dijk featured in an advert alongside American rappers Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg for promotion of their gin-based cocktails.
