French Formula One team Alpine have announced a new partnership with Mexican confectionery Canel’s. The partnership builds on Canel’s aim towards building its presence in motorsport both in Mexico and around the globe.

The partnership will see the Canel’s logo feature on the Alpine race car for the Canadian and Mexican Grands Prix.

Canel’s, which has been the F1 team’s Confectionary Partner since their Renault days in 2016, strengthens its partnership with the team through this new deal.

Otmar Szafnauer, Team Principal, BWT Alpine Formula One Team, commented:

I’m delighted to continue our relationship with Canel’s. Since they first partnered with the team in 2016, they have been a valued partner. Working with them has always been straightforward and enjoyable, not to mention delicious!
