BWT Alpine F1 Team have announced a multi-year partnership agreement with the APE Foundation, a global Web3 culture token, via its ApeCoin brand.

The partnership will see ApeCoin become a part of the Alpine F1 ecosystem through race events, Web3 integrations, and programming created with Alpine and ApeCoin token holders.

David Gendry, Chief Commercial Officer for BWT Alpine F1 Team, also Vice President of Communications for the Alpine brand, said:

Our organisation encompasses the same pillars of technology and innovation that are at the heart of ApeCoin’s mission. We’re excited to showcase our combined expertise with digital and physical activations for racing fans around the world with the most culturally relevant token in the web3 economy.

Hervé Larren, APE Foundation Special Council member and ApeChain co-author, said:

After the ApeCoin community decided to create the ApeChain, we chose to partner with a global team that shares our values, including a commitment to strong culture and cutting-edge technology. Being French, BWT Alpine F1 Team was the first name that came to mind. I’m delighted that the 146,000 members of the Ape community decided to bring our strong web3 culture and our ApeChain to the Alpine F1 ecosystem.

Gerard Hernandez, APE Foundation Special Council member, said,

“This is a world-class collaboration that represents the diverse and creative nature of the APE ecosystem, as well as blockchain technology’s potential to disrupt and innovate. By teaming up with BWT Alpine F1 Team, we’re bridging the gap between web3, live events, and real world utility at what we feel is the most exciting sport on the world stage.”
