Grill’d will be making a donation of AU$100,000 from the sale of the burgers to the Ash Barty Foundation to support them through sporting and educational initiatives.

There will be two limited-edition burgers on sale till January 31, 2024, which will be the “Ash Says” burger that will include a chicken breast, relish, cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, sweet chilli mayo and avocado, and the “Mitey Ash” burger that will include a beef patty, relish, cos lettuce, Spanish onion, tasty cheese, bacon, avocado and Vegemite mayonnaise. The “Little Ash Pack” will be available for children.

Speaking about the Grill’d agreement, Ash Barty said:

I’ve been a fan of Grill’d burgers for years so when they approached me to partner for the summer of tennis it was an easy yes. Grill’d and I share a passion for helping young Australians and I’m very grateful for their support of the Ash Barty Foundation. Their generous donation of [AU]$100k will help us make a positive impact in the areas of kids sport, education and community tennis. I hope everyone enjoys plenty of Ash Says and Mighty Ash burgers (with the very special Vegemite mayo) over summer.

Simon Crowe, Managing Director and Founder, Grill’d, added:

As a role model to millions of Aussie kids and actively involved in community work, having Ash front this campaign is a perfect match to Grill’d’s local community and charitable efforts. Grill’d is 100% natural and locally sourced from Aussie suppliers, which we are incredibly proud of. We know athletes choose our burgers when it comes to refuelling their bodies. The work we do with the AIS and elite sporting teams is testament to this.
