The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the continent’s football-governing body, has announced an extension of its partnership with broadcaster BG Sports in Thailand.

The multi-year extension will see BG Sports broadcast all AFC competitions in Thailand — from the 2025/26 season to the 2028/29 season. BG Sports will also stream the matches live on its YouTube channel and expand its coverage via linear free TV broadcasts of the 2027 Asian Cup.

BG Sports will broadcast all games involving Thai teams in the following AFC tournaments: the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup in Australia, the 2026 and 2028 U23 Asian Cups, the Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament (Final Round) for Los Angeles 2028, the 2027 U20 Asian Cup, the 2026, 2027, and 2028 U17 Asian Cups, the 2026 and 2028 U20 Women’s Asian Cups, the 2026, 2027, and 2028 U17 Women’s Asian Cups, the 2026 and 2028 Futsal Asian Cups, and the Women’s Champions League from 2025/26 to 2028/29.

On the extension, Datuk Seri Windsor John, General Secretary, AFC, said:

The AFC has worked closely with BG Sports to bring the AFC’s competitions to football fans in Thailand, and we are delighted to be able to offer even more world-class action with this partnership extension. The quality and standards of our competitions continue to be elevated with every campaign, and we are grateful to BG Sports for their cooperation and belief in Asian football.

Patit Suphaphongs, Executive Director of BG Sports, added:

Following the phenomenal milestone of over two million concurrent viewers during the recent national team match, BG Sports continues to elevate the football experience by enhancing itself as the ‘Home of Asian Football’ — both at national and club levels. Through our exclusive partnership with the AFC, Thai football fans can now enjoy Asia’s top tournaments anytime, anywhere, exclusively on BG Sports (only Thailand Territory). From the national team to leading Thai clubs like BG Pathum United, Buriram United, and Bangkok United, fans can cheer for their favourite teams with new generation commentary, all easily accessible with just one click via the BG Sports YouTube channel.
