PRINCIPAL PARTNERS

Adidas 

In May 2024, Aston Villa FC confirmed signing a multi-year partnership agreement with Adidas.

The deal, reportedly worth £17 million per year, entails the German sportswear giant supplying all match and training apparel for the AVFC men’s, women’s, and academy teams.

Adidas replaced Castore as the club’s official kit partner.

Betano

Athens-based entertainment company Kaizen Gaming and its sports-betting brand Betano announced a partnership agreement with AVFC in April 2024, which made Betano the official front-of-shirt sponsor for the club’s men’s first team and adults replica shirts in a deal set to kick off with the 2024/25 season.

TradeNation

The London-based trading company signed a multi-year Principal Partnership agreement with AVFC in June 2023, replacing Asian betting brand Kaiyun Sports.

The deal, covering both the men’s and women’s AVFC teams, entails sleeve sponsorship rights for “all first-team shirts and adult retail shirts”.

The two parties renewed their partnership in May 2024.

OFFICIAL PARTNERS

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC)

CMBC was announced as Aston Villa FC’s Official Lager and Cider Partner in June 2024 in a deal set to kick off from the 2024/25 season onwards.

As part of the deal, CMBC products are to be made available at Villa Park, the AVFC men’s team home ground, including Carlsberg Pilsner, Birrificio Poretti, Somersby CIder, 1664, and Brooklyn Pilsner.

Emmiera Group

Based out of Brierley Hill, Emmiera Group is a provider of home furnishing repair services. It was announced as an Official Partner of AVFC in July 2022 and kicked off the partnership with a ticket giveaway for the club’s fans.

Monster Energy

The American energy drinks company was announced as Aston Villa FC’s Official Energy Drinks Partner in August 2021. 

JD

British sportswear retailer JD and Aston Villa FC announced signing a multi-year partnership agreement in July 2024, with the former becoming the club’s official retail partner. 

As per the agreement, JD stocks official AVFC products both at its online and offline UK stores. The two parties are also to work on multiple fan experience projects to “expand the club’s retail footprint.”

Fanatics 

A provider of licensed sports merchandise, global digital sports platform Fanatics has been working with AVFC since 2017.

In June 2022, Fanatics and AVFC signed a long-term partnership agreement to extend their e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing deal, with the club taking advantage of Fanatics’ global footprint and tech to better serve their global fanbase.

Official UK University Partner 

Aston University, Birmingham

Aston University is the Official UK University Partner of Aston Villa FC. 

In September 2019, the two partnered up to launch “Villa Vision”, initiated by the Optometry School at Aston University and funded by the Premier League as well as the Professional Footballers’ Association, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of eye health in schools and community settings.

Official Fan Token Partner 

Socios.com

AVFC signed a multi-year deal with cryptocurrency-based fan engagement platform Socios.com, which is powered by Gzira, Malta-based blockchain fintech provider Chiliz, in August 2021 to launch their own Fan Token.

As the Official Fan Token Partner of the club, Socios.com helps AVFC offer their fans a chance to obtain Fan Tokens ($AVL) that will allow them to participate in several club-oriented activities. These Fan Tokens are limited in number and can be bought, sold, or won in an augmented reality game.

Official Ticketing Partner 

SeatGeek

SeatGeek, a high-growth technology platform aiming to transform live event experiences for fans, teams, and venues, announced a multi-year extension agreement with Aston Villa FC in June 2024. 

Working together with the club, SeatGeek aims to improve the Villans’ digital ticketing experience, amplifying matchdays both for new supporters and those who come back year after year. The renewal extends SeatGeek’s role as the club’s primary ticketing tech provider.

Official Foreign Exchange Partner 

Corpay Cross Border

The Atlanta, Georgia-based global business payments company was announced as the club’s Official Commercial Foreign Exchange Partner in September 2023.

OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNERS

Acorns Children’s Hospice

The UK-based charity, supporting children across the West Midlands region and South West England, has been working with AVFC since 2006. 

Acorns had its logo featured on the Villa kits between 2008 and 2010. Currently, it has been serving the club as an Official Charity Partner since the 2019/20 season. 

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity

The Birmingham-based specialist children’s hospital, along with Acorns Children’s Hospice, was announced as an Official Charity Partner of the club in August 2019. 

The deal sees AVFC raise awareness regarding the charities’ work as well as “drive recruitment of volunteers” for them.
