Chelsea signs new deal with the Signify Group
Chelsea FC have announced a new long-term partnership with Signify Group who are known for their work on tackling online abuse. The partnership with the Chelsea women’s team will see social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube covered along with Chelsea’s own platforms as Signify will work towards helping the club fight online abuse. Signify will work towards identifying the abusers and work with the club to take action or escalate the cases to the authorities.
A spokesperson for the Chelsea Women’s team said,
“The welfare of our players, coaches and staff is of the utmost importance to Chelsea FC Women. By working with Signify Group, we are taking proactive steps to further address online abuse and threats, ensuring our players, staff and the wider Chelsea Women’s family can focus on what matters most – competing at the highest level on the pitch.”
