Major League Soccer (MLS) club DC United have inked a multi-year deal with Guidehouse, a Washington, DC-based global provider of consulting services to public sector and commercial markets, with broad capabilities in risk management, technology, and risk consulting.

The partnership will see Guidehouse serve as the front-of shirt sponsor for DC United’s senior team as well as their academy and eMLS teams. Guidehouse will also gain the naming rights for the MLS club’s East Sideline Suite Level at Audi Field, their home ground. It will also work with the club to “advance the club’s camps and clinics programs”.

Danita Johnson, President of Business Operations, DC United, commented:

We are confident that our partnership with Guidehouse will prove to be a transformational moment for our club and we are enthusiastic about what this relationship means for the next chapter of D.C. United. It was important for us to align ourselves with a partner who shared our commitment to using our platform for purposeful, positive impact and a dedication to expanding the influence of our sport to provide more access, equity, and opportunity within our local community and across our region. The local insight – being based here in the region – paired with the international know-how with the work they do across the globe will have an immediate and long-lasting effect on our club’s mission to unite sport, build community, and ultimately compete to win championships.

Scott McIntyre, Chief Executive Officer, Guidehouse, said:

Guidehouse and D.C. United have a shared passion and commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and quality. Whether on the field, or in the work we do with our clients, great talent, coaching, and dedication is an essential element of our strategy. We are honoured to partner together, and see many exciting opportunities to harness the power of our synergies to create amazing new experiences for fans and bring a positive impact to our communities.
