EA Sports teams up with The Athletic
Sports video game developer and published EA Sports has announced a partnership with The Athletic, the sports journalism division of The New York Times.
As per the agreement, editorial and video coverage from The Athletic will feature on the EA Sports app alongside latest news and stats across football, the National Football League (NFL), college gridiron football, Formula One, golf, and other sports.
EA Sports has also confirmed that The Athletic will feature in FC 26, the latest instalment in its football-simulation video game series FC (formerly FIFA) that launched on September 26, 2025.
