FanCode acquires Formula One broadcast rights for India

FanCode has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Formula One, thus becoming its Exclusive Broadcast Partner in India for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

As per the agreement, the Indian sports-dedicated OTT streaming platform will broadcast all Practice and Qualifying sessions, Sprint events, and Grands Prix for the next two F1 seasons.

The 2024 F1 season gets underway this weekend with the Bahrain Grand Prix, and Indian fans can catch the action on FanCode on their smart TVs, mobile phones, and tablets. 

Ian Holmes, Director — Media Rights and Content Creation, Formula One, commented:

I am delighted to announce that fans in India will be able to watch F1 on FanCode for the next two seasons. We have found a strong broadcast partner in them with expert knowledge on how we can best serve our 60 million existing fans and reach new audiences in India. Together, we will take our combined expertise to produce premium content that showcases the sporting spectacle that is F1.”
