US gambling company to gain visibility through partnership.

Esports and entertainment organisation Faze Clan has teamed up with gambling giant DraftKings, which will see the latter become the Official Sports Betting, iGaming, Daily Fantasy and Free-to-Play Partner of Faze Clan.

Additionally, the Boston-based gambling company will also collaborate with Faze Clan’s content creators on a variety of digital content activations.

DraftKings has also been announced as the official sponsor of Faze Clan’s Counter-Strike team and will be receiving jersey branding placement and additional inventory across player and team channels.

The partnership will see both Faze Clan’s fans and DraftKings’ audiences be able to take part in custom contests, pools and tournaments and stand a chance to win official merchandise.

Both parties have also announced that they will work together to create educational content on the importance of responsible gaming.

Matt Kalish, Co-Founder and President, DraftKings, North America, said:

Faze Clan is a juggernaut of internet engagement and culture, built from the ground up into one of the most influential esports and content organisations in the world.

The strong crossover between DraftKings customers and Faze’s tens of millions of viewers and followers made this a natural alliance, and we hope to create excitement, competition, and community around sports and video games for adult audiences everywhere we operate.

Lee Trink, Faze Clan Chief Executive, added:

The DraftKings deal is a natural move for Faze Clan as our members and fans are avid followers of traditional sports, and this gives us the opportunity to further propel our talent and brand into the mainstream.

Both brands also share an important vision of being at the forefront of internet culture and we believe this partnership marks an important cultural crossover moment for the future of sports and entertainment.
