South-West London’s Premier League club Fulham FC have announced a new partnership with Argentine wine manufacturer, Bodega Argento.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the official partner of the Cottagers and the new Fulham Pier venue which is one of London’s prime waterfront destinations.
Bodega Argento will get further exposure by offering a variety of quality organic and Fairtrade Malbecs across the club’s matchday hospitality spaces, including the new Fulham Pier development.
Speaking on the partnership, Commercial Director at Fulham Football Club, Jon Don-Carolis said:
“We’re delighted to partner with Bodega Argento, a company which we very much share aligned synergies including heritage, authenticity, sustainability and service excellence. The world class lifestyle and entertainment destination, Fulham Pier, will provide a key premium channel to drive Bodega Argento growth within the London and UK markets whilst the Club and Premier League global fanbase will provide a platform to drive international awareness and brand familiarisation.”
Speaking on the strategic partnership, CEO of Grupo Avinea-Bodega Argento, Rafael Calderon said:
“We feel close to the values of Fulham FC and the spirit of the Club. Building on tradition, investing in a sustainable future and thriving for excellence is what we are committed to. We are excited to be an Official Partner of Fulham FC and Fulham Pier, and look forward to partnering with a Club that is going places.”
For more than 20 years, Bodega Argento has been recognized worldwide for their wines that express the purity of the Mendoza terrain in Argentina. In 2012, they introduced a new range of wines with the premise of leading the production of organic and sustainable wines to preserve in each bottle the best of the Mendoza region.
This partnership with a well-known London club in Fulham FC will expand their global presence, leveraging the popularity of football in the UK to reach a wider audience.
