JPMorgan Chase
JPMorgan Chase was announced as the Official Bank of the Golden State Warriors in October 2017.
As per the deal, the American bank used to enjoy visibility throughout the Warriors’ previous home ground, Oracle Arena. Then, in 2019, it bagged a US$300m deal spanning over 20 years through which it acquired the official naming rights for the new 18,064-seater arena complex in downtown San Francisco, which is thusly called “Chase Center”.
Rakuten
In 2017, Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten became the Golden State Warriors’ jersey patch sponsor in a deal reportedly worth US$60 million.
The agreement was extended in 2019, then again in 2021, and last in May 2022.
FTX
The Warriors and FTX announced a partnership agreement in December 2021, FTX becoming the team’s official cryptocurrency platform in the process.
In early 2022, the Warriors began releasing NFTs on FTX.us in accordance with the deal.
Verizon
In May 2021, as per a multi-year agreement it signed with 15 NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors, US telecom giant Verizon installed 5G infrastructure across 60 NBA facilities.
Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network enables the franchises to provide their fans with immersive experiences, allowing their arenas to use next-gen solutions for operational purposes around public safety, access, concessions, and crowd management.
Clorox
Chase Center and bleach and cleaning brand Clorox signed a multi-year partnership agreement in 2021. The deal makes Clorox the official disinfectant product of both the Warriors and Chase Center.
According to the agreement, Clorox supplies cleaning supplies, such as the Clorox Total 360® System electrostatic sprayers, to support Chase Center’s Clorox-sponsored Clean Team, while also enjoying a strong branding presence during Warriors home matches.
Betway
A multi-year collaboration agreement between the Warriors and Betway, an international sports betting and gambling company, was announced in March 2021.
As per the deal, Betway is advertised across Warriors assets through broadcast-visible signs, commercial readings, and other marketing materials.
Google Cloud
The Warriors and Chase Center announced a partnership agreement with Google Cloud in February 2019. Google Cloud was thusly named the Official Public Cloud Provider of the Dubs as well as a Founding Partner of Chase Center.
Starry
A lemon-based soft drink brand owned by PepsiCo and sold in the US, Starry was added to the Warriors’ sponsorship portfolio for the 2023/24 NBA season.
The partnership sees Starry prominently feature on the creatives posted by the Warriors across their social media platforms.
United Airlines
United Airlines and the Warriors have partnered with each other since 2016, when the former was announced as the founding partner of Chase Centre.
As per the deal, the Warriors employ United Airlines flights for official travel, while offering the company in return brand visibility through their stadium and social media assets.
Invisalign (Align Technology)
US orthodontics tech specialist Align Technology signed a partnership agreement with the Warriors in 2021, becoming their Official Smile Partner in the process.
The deal also covers the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Warriors’ official G League affiliate team, as well as their esports affiliate, the Golden Guardians. Align Technology also enjoys brand visibility through TV, digital media, social media, and jersey partnerships.
Kia
Kia Motors America has had a longstanding partnership agreement in place with the Warriors — since 2012.
As per the deal, Kia branding appears across the Warriors’ social media creatives.
Accenture
Global IT company Accenture and the Warriors signed a long-term partnership agreement in 2016, which made the former the Official Technology Partner of the latter.
As per the deal, Accenture seeks to better fan experience at Chase Centre while gaining brand visibility through the Warriors’ social media platforms.
Oracle
It was announced in July 2021 that global IT company Oracle had become the Team Performance Center Partner of the Golden State Warriors.
As per the deal, the company offers insights and knowledge to help enhance the Warriors players’ performance, while enjoying brand visibility across the team’s social media platforms.
Kaiser Permanente
The Warriors announced in May 2019 a multi-year partnership agreement with California-based healthcare company Kaiser Permanente.
The partnership is aimed at working towards broader commitments to health and wellness. As per the deal, the non-profit healthcare system serves as the Dubs’ official team physician.
Hennessy
The Golden State Warriors were one of ten NBA clubs with whom cognac brand Hennessy teamed up after it was named the NBA’s official spirit in March 2021.
The collaboration entails marketing assistance, custom community platforms, retail activation, and regionalised packaging. The goal of Hennessy is to promote its motto of “Never Stop, Never Settle” through distinctive activities that reflect the local communities the ten NBA franchises represent.
Biofreeze
The Warriors announced Biofreeze, a 1991-invented pain relief product, as the official title sponsor of their basketball and training facilities in 2019.
According to the terms of the deal, supporters of the Golden State Warriors can access the Biofreeze Center exclusively and keep up with all the events there via Instagram.
DoorDash
In October 2022, the Warriors announced a multi-year partnership agreement with DoorDash, making the American food delivery service their official on-demand delivery platform.
One essential aspect of the collaboration is the ability for Chase Center attendees to use the DoorDash mobile app to order food and drinks for pickup inside the arena. The Warriors and DoorDash have also collaborated to offer fans prizes, discounts on orders, and more since the start of the 2022/23 season.
Fanatics
The Warriors and Fanatics, a licensed sports merchandise firm, jointly announced a long-term, omni-channel retail agreement in July 2019. This partnership expanded item selection and accessibility for fans across online, mobile, and in-person retail outlets.
With this announcement, Fanatics established a system for all Warriors shop locations in the Bay Area, including the 10,000-square-foot multi-level flagship store at Thrive City as well as stores within Chase Center.
Williams-Sonoma
Williams-Sonoma, a retailer of home goods, announced a partnership agreement with the Warriors in May 2019, becoming in the process their official furniture and home design partner.
As per the deal, Williams-Sonoma supplies furnishings for several spaces at Chase Center. These areas include courtside lounges, numerous bar spaces, club suites, as well as the Warriors Corporate Offices.
