Viacom18 confirmed as new Indian Super League media rights partner

Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), the company operating the Indian Super League (ISL), has announced that Viacom18 Media Private Limited has acquired the exclusive media rights for the top tier of Indian domestic professional football for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

Viacom18 will hold both television and digital media rights for the ISL, which will see the tournament streamed for free on its OTT platform, JioCinema. 

The announcement is made ahead of the tenth season of the ISL, which is scheduled to get underway from September 21, with Bengaluru FC taking on Kerala Blasters FC.

A spokesperson for Football Sports Development Limited commented:
