Red Bull Junior Team member and Formula 2 driver Jehan Daruvala will take part in his third Formula One test with McLaren later this week at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France after an announcement by the British Formula One team.

Daruvala’s third test will be a part of McLaren’s Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme. The Indian F2 racer will test the 2021 MCL35M once again.

Daruvala took part in his first-ever Formula One test earlier this year at the Silverstone Circuit in June and then tested with McLaren again at the Algarve International Circuit in Portugal in July.

Currently in his third Formula 2 season, Daruvala is racing for Prema Racing and currently sits fifth in the Championship Standings, with one win this season that came in Monza.

Apart from Daruvala, McLaren have also had their IndyCar racers Pato O’Ward, Colton Herta and Alex Palou test their Formula One car as part of the TPC programme earlier this year. While Herta did his test in Portugal, O’Ward and Palou had their maiden Formula One tests in Spain, at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.
