Luton Town Football Club (LTFC) have renewed their partnership with local IT firm Switchshop.
Switchshop and Luton Town FC have collaborated on various community projects since first partnering up in March earlier this year. Most recently, the two joined hands to support a local school project where they helped the Breachwood Green JMI School install a new “astroturf” playing surface.
Chris Bell, Commercial Director, Luton Town Football Club, said:
“Luton Town and Switchshop share many common values that have allowed us both to progress over recent years. Strong ties to the local community, investment in people and a desire to constantly improve runs through the core of Luton Town and Switchshop. When James and the team at Switchshop explained how they had supported Breachwood Green JMI school with their new play area we were only too happy to help open the facility.
“Sport can play a very important part in development for children, this is a belief we both hold. Mick, Cauley and James had a brilliant time with the children and staff. We hope many happy memories were made and we look forward to expanding and developing a great partnership with Switchshop.“
James Curry, Director, Switchshop, added:
“The partnership provides the opportunity to support the local businesses and make a positive impact within the community. As a locally born company, we are thrilled to continue working with Luton Town, who also represent our own values in progression, and strong local roots to grow and achieve success. This will also help to improve employee satisfaction, many of whom are loyal Hatters fans. Myself, Mike and Tom always wanted Switchshop to be able to make a difference whether it be with our customers, employees or surrounding communities, we feel that this project has provided us the opportunity to make such an impact and are incredibly proud to be involved. Overall, the collaboration reflects a shared spirit of community, growth and ambition.“
