Manchester City Football Club have teamed up with international hospitality company Radisson Hotel Group, with the partnership supporting their upcoming 401-room hotel set to open in 2026.
Known as “The Medlock”, the four-star hotel will be connected to the Etihad Stadium and situated in the club’s Etihad Campus. It will join Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio of 1,520 hotels around the world and host conferences and other events.
Roel de Vries, Chief Operating Officer at City Football Group, commented:
“Today’s announcement is an exciting moment as we reveal the name of our hotel as ‘The Medlock’ and welcome globally renowned hotelier, Radisson Hotel Group to the Etihad Campus. Radisson’s enthusiasm and passion for the Club’s hotel project is clear, and we firmly believe that Radisson’s industry experience together with the Club’s ambition and vision for the hotel is the perfect combination.
