The Melbourne Renegades have announced Australian private health insurance company GMHBA as their Official Health Insurance Partner for the 2025/26 Big Bash League season.
The partnership will cover both the women’s and men’s teams of the franchise throughout their Women’s Big Bash League and Big Bash League campaigns, while also offering GMHBA members a chance to win tickets to Renegades home games.
GMHBA also holds the naming rights to the Renegades’ men’s team’s home ground, Kardinia Park, which is thusly known as GMHBA Stadium.
James Rosengarten, General Manager, Melbourne Renegades, commented:
“It’s fantastic to have GMHBA join the Renegades family. They’ve been a big part of the Geelong and Melbourne communities for a long time and share our passion for supporting people and creating genuine connections. We’re excited to work together and make a real impact both on and off the field.”
Helen Stevens, Chief Marketing Officer, GMHBA, said:
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Melbourne Renegades, a club that inspires fans, champions women’s sport, and brings communities together through the excitement of cricket. At GMHBA, we believe that being part of a healthy community is about more than just access to healthcare. It’s about connection, movement and shared experiences. Sport brings people together, and this partnership gives us another opportunity to engage with families across Geelong and regional Victoria, inspiring healthy, active lifestyles both on and off the field.”
