This article contains information about the organisations serving as official sponsors and partners to National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise Milwaukee Bucks during the 2023/24 season.
Motorola
In May 2021, the Milwaukee Bucks and Motorola, an American multinational telecommunications company founded in 1928, signed a jersey patch agreement. The Motorola logo is since displayed on the left chest of the Bucks jersey.
Motorola’s branding features on both the Bucks playing and practice jerseys as well as on in-arena replays and digital displays at Fiserv Forum, the home arena of the Bucks.
Additionally, the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation, the Bucks’ charity arm, and Motorola work together on community projects with special focus on STEM progress and education.
BMO Bank
Chicago-based BMO Bank and the Bucks extended their long-standing partnership in September 2017, after the former was named a founding partner of the team’s home arena.
The BMO Club, an all-inclusive, event-level club with unmatched access and a direct connection to the player tunnel, is a component of the Bucks arena in accordance with the 30-year BMO Bank contract.
Fiserv
The Bucks sold the naming rights of their US$524m arena to Brookfield, Wisconsin-based financial technology company Fiserv in July 2018.
The Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center, which was finished in 2018, was thusly renamed to Fiserv Forum under the 25-year agreement. Although the contract’s financial details were kept private, it was reported in June 2018 that the deal was reportedly worth US$6 million per year.
The Bucks have also teamed up with Fiserv’s Clover Commerce to help small local businesses handle payments, track inventory, and implement loyalty programmes, among other things.
Froedtert & MCW
In 2019, the Bucks extended their affiliation with Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin for a third year.
With this agreement, Froedtert & MCW became the first team partner to broaden its sponsorship agreement to also include the Bucks’ NBA 2K side.
In May 2019, Froedtert & MCW teamed up with Bucks Gaming, the Milwaukee Bucks NBA 2K League club. As the team’s official healthcare provider, Froedtert & MCW organises player visits for its patients.
Johnson Controls
In March 2017, Johnson Controls, an Irish technology and multi-industry conglomerate, and the Bucks signed a strategic marketing agreement.
According to the deal, Johnson Controls represents Fiserv Forum as its official smart building partner. To improve the spectator experience, lower energy consumption, and lessen the facility’s environmental impact, Johnson Controls has installed several building technology services throughout the arena.
EngageRM
In July 2022, the Bucks and Australian business technology services provider EngageRM agreed to a five-year partnership agreement that aimed to improve the team’s day-to-day operations and deepen their relationships with their fanbase.
GameOn
The Milwaukee Bucks and artificial intelligence services provider GameOn Technology teamed up in September 2022 to provide Bucks supporters with a conversational AI chat experience.
By combining information about the Bucks and Fiserv Forum into one AI discussion, the new chat feature on the Bucks website and mobile app makes it simpler for fans to find rapid answers to frequent inquiries.
Anheuser-Busch
In July 2022, Anheuser-Busch announced a marketing alliance with the Milwaukee Bucks, becoming the team’s exclusive beer on a multi-year deal.
The relationship includes Michelob Ultra-led in-stadium activations like concourse level activations, retail displays with Bucks logos around the state, the expansion of the Michelob Ultra Courtside campaign, and unique digital content on various social media platforms.
Beechwood Sales and Services
In July 2022, Wisconsin-based beverage retailer Beechwood Sales & Services announced a marketing alliance with the Milwaukee Bucks, becoming their exclusive hard seltzer on a multi-year deal.
Betway
The Milwaukee Bucks and Betway, a 2006-founded online gambling company, partnered for an extended period in February 2022, the deal establishing Betway as the team’s official gaming partner.
As a result of the collaboration, Betway receives in-arena branding at Fiserv Forum and on digital Bucks assets as part of the Betway Game Rewind, which highlights the Bucks’ most recent clash with their opponents.
The partnership was announced along with Betway’s collaboration with seven additional NBA teams, including the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Golden State Warriors, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Brooklyn Nets, and the Miami Heat.
Socios.com
The Milwaukee Bucks teamed up with Socios.com, a worldwide blockchain service provider for the sports and entertainment sector, in September 2021 to further engage their global fanbase.
Socios.com engages the Bucks supporters worldwide as an official team partner of the Bucks through monthly internet surveys, digital gameday takeovers, and in-arena signage.
Science in Sport
A collaboration agreement between the Milwaukee Bucks and Science in Sport (SiS), a producer and retailer of sports nutrition products, was announced in September 2021.
The collaboration aims to aid the Bucks’ sports science team. SiS serves the NBA franchise as their Official Vitamins & Supplements Partner.
SiS assists the Bucks through its Performance Solutions model in cooperation with the Bucks performance staff, which is overseen by Vice President of Performance, Troy Flanagan. The development of player-specific tailored items, including vitamins and supplements, selected by SiS and the Bucks team nutritionists, has been made possible by this paradigm, which also enables intensive research and knowledge initiatives to better understand NBA athletes.
This partnership was further extended in April 2023 and also roped in All-Star and Bucks forward Khris Middleton.
SC Johnson
A partnership between the Milwaukee Bucks and SC Johnson, the manufacturer of popular consumer goods like Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles, and Mrs Meyer’s Clean Day, was announced in May 2021.
The Bucks recycle the more than one million plastic cups used at Fiserv Forum and in the surrounding Deer District each year with the help of SC Johnson, which is now an official sustainability partner of the team as well as the official disinfectant and commercial cleaning partner of the group.
SC Johnson also offers Fiserv Forum staff members products and training to further improve the sanitising and cleanliness of the venue.
Calm
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trail Blazers partnered with meditation app Calm in 2021.
The cooperation aims to control competition-related stress as well as the workload of the staff and athletes.
Sargento Foods
The Milwaukee Bucks and Sargento Foods first teamed up in 2019. Sargento Foods later announced a five-year extension agreement to continue as the team’s official cheese in 2021.
This partnership entails a joint commitment from Sargento Foods and the Bucks to the “Tipoff for Homes” programme. It was announced in October 2023 that, throughout the 2023/24 NBA regular season, Sargento Foods would give non-profit homeownership ministry Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity US$500 for each tipoff the Bucks won.
Hennessy
In May 2021, ten NBA teams joined forces with Hennessy, the official cognac of the league.
Apart from the Milwaukee Bucks, the other NBA teams that are part of this agreement are the Atlanta Hawks, the Charlotte Hornets, the Dallas Mavericks, the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors, the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Washington Wizards.
I Got it
The Milwaukee Bucks and I Got It, a digital auction platform, collaborated in January 2021 to offer fans of the Bucks access to special auctions.
The Bucks app integrates I Got It’s proprietary auction engine, allowing fans to place real-time bids on game-used gear, autographed memorabilia, collectables, virtual and real-world events, and more.
Tanduay
In January 2021, Philippine rum company Tanduay signed a three-year partnership agreement to become an official Bucks sponsor.
Beginning in early 2021, Bucks-branded merchandise was made available throughout Wisconsin thanks to the team’s partnership with Tanduay.
EatStreet
In December 2020, the Milwaukee Bucks on-boarded EatStreet, an independent online and mobile food ordering and delivery service in the US, as the Official Food Delivery Partner for their gaming affiliate, Bucks Gaming.
As per the deal, the Madison, Wisconsin-based company provides special offerings to the Bucks supporters through the “Gameday Dish Out” programme. EatStreet is the Official Food Delivery Partner for each regular season.
Nuna Baby Essentials
The Milwaukee Bucks and baby equipment company Nuna Baby Essentials signed a partnership agreement in August 2020, making Nuna is the presenting partner of the Bucks Family Room inside Fiserv Forum.
Nuna and the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation (MBF) donated support to Milwaukee’s Sojourner Family Peace Center as a way to kick off their collaboration. Additionally, in 2021, the MBF and Nuna collaborated on multiple neighbourhood projects.
Nuna and the Bucks last renewed their partnership in October 2023.
Pick n’ Save
The Bucks and grocery store brand Pick n’ Save teamed up in January 2023 to improve immediate food insecurity and provide better access in the community.
As per this partnership, the two parties are also to donate US$50,000 in the form of Pick ‘n Save gift cards to help out those in need.
Potawatomi
Potawatomi Hotel and Casino signed on as an Official Partner of the Milwaukee Bucks in April 2022.
The deal has seen the Bucks rebrand their Panorama Club at Fiserv Forum to the Potawatomi Club. It further entails the Milwaukee-based hotel and casino featuring prominently across all of the Bucks’ social media creatives and other digital assets.
Kwik Trip
Kwik Trip signed on as an official partner of the Bucks’ gaming affiliate, Bucks Gaming, in March 2020.
As per the deal, Kwik Trip gets visibility through courtside signage in the regular season home games of Bucks Gaming, while also appearing on the social media platforms of the NBA team.
Door Peninsula Winery
Door Peninsula Winery is also an Official Partner of the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2023/24 season and prominently appears across the team’s official social media handles.
Being a partner, the company has previously served its products at Fiserv Forum in 2021, with the Bucks having taken part in the playoffs that year.
Jockey
In October 2019, Jockey was announced as a partner of the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum as well as the presenting partner of Jockey Club, a premium space at the mezzanine level of the arena.
The deal sees the 6,500-square-foot space used for the Bucks and the Marquette University men’s basketball team’s games, concerts, and family shows. Jockey also enjoys a strong presence across all of the Bucks’ digital forums.
Wendy’s
The world’s third-largest hamburger fast-food chain is also an Official Partner of the Milwaukee Bucks.
As per the partnership agreement, the two parties work together on providing discounts and offers to the Bucks fans. Currently, Wendy’s allows the fans to win free products every time the Bucks secure a win in the NBA.
We Energies
Electrical services company We Energies has enjoyed a partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks since 2019.
During this collaboration, the two parties most notably announced the commencement of the “Milwaukee Bucks Foundation” and the “We Energies Foundation”. Through this initiative, We Energies has donated US$500 to Woodlands School and Dr Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy in Milwaukee every time the Bucks bench has gone on to score 30 points or more.
Casamigos
It was announced in July 2018 that premium alcohol brand Casamigos Tequila had partnered with the Milwaukee Bucks to serve as their Official Ultra-Premium Tequila partner.
As per the deal, the brand released the “Cocktail of the Game” as part of a unique campaign that allows fans to prepare the cocktail shared with all the ingredients and directions. This particular segment features on the Bucks social media handles.
Ticketmaster
The Beverly Hills-based American ticket sales and distribution company is also an Official Partner of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ballers Champagne
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, the Bucks signed a partnership agreement with London-based company Ballers Champagne, which thus became the team’s Official Champagne.
As per the deal, Ballers Champagne attempts to enhance the Bucks fans’ experience. The deal marks the company’s first-ever agreement in the area of Wisconsin, and second overall in the US. It also sees Ballers sponsor the Bucks’ 2023-24 Tipoff Week and Opening Night.
Sprite
Bucks Gaming, an official affiliate of the Bucks, signed up Sprite as an official partner in March 2020.
A partner of the basketball side as well, Sprite has in the past created specially-curated cans based on the Bucks.
Bubo Orthodontics
Southern Wisconsin-based orthodontics services provider Bubon Orthodontics is the Official Smile of the Milwaukee Bucks.
As per the agreement between the two parties, Bubo Orthodontics prominently features across the Bucks’ social media platforms.
