Paris 2024 strikes partnership with Re-uz

Staff Staff

Re-uz, a European company owned by Impact Group, is a leader in the manufacture of reusable cups and containers that strives to promote sustainability at every event that is conducted throughout the world.

The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games have partnered with Re-uz. As a result of this development, Re-uz has been chosen as an official sponsor of the two events that will take place in Paris in 2024.

Through this agreement, the organisation will provide recyclable cups and containers for use at the events. To encourage spectators to return the offered items, such as cups and containers, Re-uz will also try to implement a deposit system at the locations and areas where the games will be hosted.

The brand will be on the third tier of the sponsorship tree as a member of the Paris 2024 sponsorship strategy.

Tony Estanguet, Paris 2024 President, said:

We are happy to welcome Re-uz to the team of official supporters of Paris 2024. Since the start of the project, we have wanted to promote a new model of events, more responsible, particularly from the point of view of respect for the environment. By offering reuse solutions during the Paris 2024 Games and helping to ensure that these ways of doing things continue during future sporting events, the partnership with Re-uz brings this ambition to life in a very concrete way.

Philippe Berthe, Chief Executive, Re-uz, commented:

“We are very proud to be associated with the biggest sporting event in the world. This represents a unique opportunity to be able to demonstrate our know-how. This partnership is part of a global goal for us: to raise awareness of the ecological impact of sporting events and to support as many people as possible towards re-employment.
