Indian gaming organisation S8UL Esports and its co-founder, Naman Mathur aka Mortal, will once again be carrying India’s flag on the international stage after being nominated as the country’s sole representatives for the 2023 Global Esports Awards.

S8UL Esports has received a nomination for the “Esports Content Creator of the Year” category, while Mortal has been nominated for the “Esports Personality of the Year” category.

The Global Esports Awards is an event dedicated to showcasing top-class performance and innovation from, amongst others, the players, the teams, the media, the hardware providers, the games, the events, and the personalities within the scene. The aim of the awards is to ensure that success and achievement in esports are celebrated globally.

S8UL Esports, which is the brainchild of Indian esports veterans Naman Mathur (Mortal), Animesh Agarwal (8Bit Thug) and Lokesh Jain (Goldy), had emerged victorious in the “Content Group of the Year” category at the awards last year against global sensations from the industry, including the likes of 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, OTK, G4TV and Tribo Gaules among others. This time round, S8UL is in contention for the award alongside equally notable names such as Loud, The Score Esports, Last Free Nation, Judo Sloth, One True King, Tribo Gaules and many more.
