Partnership extended for a fifth consecutive season

Swiss Formula One team Sauber has announced a partnership extension with Swiss leisure travel airline, Edelweiss, with the partnership continuing on for a fifth consecutive season. The partnership between both had first started back in the Formula One 2021 season.

Both will continue to provide aviation and motorsport fans with the exclusive ‘Edelweiss’ experience and will also host various activations including the ‘Join the Team” experience at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 in Baku, which will give the fans a chance to travel with the team on a charter flight, stay at the team hotel, and enjoy exclusive paddock access throughout the race weekend in Baku. Both will also host various other fan experiences including at Sauber’s headquarters in Hinwil, Zurich, allowing the fans to get a closer look at Formula One workings.

Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber, said,

“We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Edelweiss, a relationship built on reliability, excellence, and shared values. The Formula One calendar is demanding and extensive: having a partner like Edelweiss allows our team to travel comfortably, efficiently, and with confidence. Their support is crucial as we pursue our ambitions on track, and we look forward to creating even more memorable experiences together for our fans and guests.”

Patrick Heymann, Chief Commercial Officer, Edelweiss, added,

“We are delighted to celebrate our fifth year of partnership with Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber. It is an honour and privilege to support the team’s global travels while providing exclusive experiences for Formula One and aviation fans alike.
