The United States Golf Association (USGA) and British sports broadcaster Sky Sports have extended their broadcast agreement for the coverage of the US Open Championship in a new three-year deal.
As part of the new agreement with the USGA, Sky has also confirmed that it will broadcast live coverage of both the 2024 US Open in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and the 2025 US Open in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
Sky Sports released a statement, which read:
“Sky Sports and [the] USGA have announced an extension of their partnership, with the broadcaster to show the live action for a further three years. Within the new deal, Sky Sports viewers can continue to enjoy live action from the US Open Championship, as well as:
- Women’s golf with the US Women’s Open and US Women’s Amateur Championship and Curtis Cup Match between the UK and Ireland and the USA,
- Additional events including the US Senior Open and the US Amateur Championship,
- Sky Sports is the home of live golf in the UK and Ireland, with all four men’s majors and all five women’s majors exclusively live on Sky Sports Golf, as well as the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour all available to enjoy. This year is the biggest year yet for golf on Sky Sports, and
- Sky Sports Golf viewers are provided with insight and analysis from expert presenters and commentators, including the likes of Sir Nick Faldo, Nick Dougherty, Sarah Stirk, Andrew Coltart, Laura Davies, Paul McGinley, Henni Koyack and Rich Beem.”
