TITLE SPONSOR

IDFC First Bank

IDFC First Bank was announced as the official title sponsor for all BCCI international and domestic matches in August 2023. The financial services provider thus acts as the title sponsor for all international matches concerning the India men’s and women’s cricket teams.

IDFC First Bank will also cover domestic competitions, such as the Irani Trophy, the Duleep Trophy, the Ranji Trophy, as well as Under-19 and Under-23 matches held in the country.

Dream11

The BCCI announced Dream11 as the title sponsor for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in August 2019 post the collapse of its deal with Chinese brand Vivo. However, the fantasy app was already signed on as a BCCI partner prior to being handed over the title sponsorship of the IPL. 

Although Dream11 dropped out as the IPL’s title sponsor, which was handed to TATA, it continues to act as an official partner of the IPL and the BCCI, currently also serving as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Indian national cricket teams. 

KIT SPONSOR

adidas

The BCCI announced in May 2023 its partnership with the German sports brand Adidas, which now acts as the official kit sponsor for the Indian national cricket teams. Although it has been rumoured that the deal worth ?350 crore, the exact length and the value of the deal remain undisclosed. 

The BCCI’s contract with Killer Jeans, which previously held the kit sponsorship rights, ended in May 2023.

OFFICIAL PARTNER

Campa

In January 2024, Campa, a brand under the Reliance Consumer Products umbrella, was announced as an official partner for the BCCI’s domestic and international seasons from 2024 to 2026.

As part of this partnership, Campa will look to unveil its range of products and provide fans with unique experiences at stadiums.

Atomberg Technologies

In January 2024, Atomberg Technologies, a homegrown brand that has ventured into smart locks and home appliances, was announced as an official partner for the BCCI’s domestic and international seasons from 2024 to 2026.

SBI Life

The BCCI signed SBI Life as its official partner ahead of the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The partnership will last for a period of three years and kicked off with the India-Australia bilateral series of September 2023.

On the deal, BCCI Honorary Secretary, Jay Shah, said (via Live Mint):

“We are delighted to welcome SBI Life on board as an Official Partner for BCCI’s Domestic and International Season for the course of the next three years, ahead of the prestigious ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. SBI Life’s commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with BCCI’s vision for cricket.”

OFFICIAL BROADCASTER

Sports18

Reliance-owned Viacom18 (Sports18) is now the official broadcast partner of the BCCI. The deal between the two parties was signed in late August 2023 and is reportedly worth ?5,963 crore.

Viacom18 reportedly beat Sony Sports Network India and Disney Hotstar to acquire the BCCI broadcasting rights for the next five years.

Viacom18 is already a major player in cricket broadcasting in India, currently holding the television and streaming rights for the Women’s Premier League, the Indian Premier League, as well as other franchise competitions like Major League Cricket of the US and SA20 of South Africa.

OFFICIAL DIGITAL STREAMING PARTNER

JioCinema

OTT platform JioCinema, a part of the Viacom18 network, now serves as the official streaming partner of Indian cricket as part of an ongoing five-year agreement. The deal officially commenced with Australia’s tour India ahead of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

India national cricket team’s previous sponsors

BYJU’S

The BCCI announced in July 2019 a sponsorship deal with Indian edtech firm BYJU’S, making it one of Indian cricket’s Team Sponsors. The deal between the two parties was later extended for a period of eighteen months in June 2022. The deal ended in 2023.

Star Sports

In April 2018, Star India won the television and digital broadcast rights for all BCCI-affiliated matches played within India for a five-year period by outbidding rival networks Sony Pictures Networks India and Reliance Jio with a bid reportedly worth ?6,138.1 crore. Sports18 replaced Star Sports in 2023.

Mastercard

Mastercard signed a title sponsorship agreement with the BCCI in September 2022. The American financial services corporation thus acted as the title sponsor of both the Indian men’s and women’s national teams’ international and domestic games.

Ambuja Cement

The BCCI announced Indian cement company ACC’s brand Ambuja as one of its Official Partners in August 2019. The four-year is set to end in 2023. 

Hyundai

The BCCI announced South Korean automobile giant Hyundai Motor Company as one of its Official Partners in August 2019. Hyundai will continue to be a partner of the BCCI until the end of 2023.
